Here's a theory I've stumbled upon about Soi Fons bankai, since the old ways of assassination mainly used small blades, hidden weapons and poison was the usual way to finish off targets (shinkai) but modern assassination mainly uses drones, missiles and bombs to "stealthy" finish off the target (bankai). Its the contrast between aceint assassination and modern assassination. I hope this explanation made sense, lol,
