poop in the barn

Another situation in which I could use a light on my camera! 💡

makes sense, horse manure is warm, wet and full of nutrients. it's basically superfood for plants.
2022-12-27 18:04:02 +0000 UTCPlus their digestive system is very inefficient. You can see bits and pieces of hay in horse poop. Not like humans or dogs, were everything is turned into brown mush. One year I fed sunflower seeds to my horses. The next year their pasture was full of sunflowers! The seeds just went through their system in tact. They didn't get any nutritional value out of it! The seeds germinated in the horse manure.
