I had no memory of it, but I probably learned about it 4 years ago when Gavin & Meg talked about it on Rooster Teeth Podcast #626 around the 30 minute mark, which is most of what the comments are about on that video. Anyways, this draft was tippy-toppers! Tubthumping is pretty bad, but the rest of that album rules. Plus the Homer Simpson thing, which I had forgotten about.

I've heard Gavin mention Swoon in the past and I totally get it. It's insanely repetitive as is most electronic music but I think it's a real testament to how catchy that particular melody is. Would be interesting to hear it on other synths and instruments. HOWEVER the remix I'm suggesting to listen to does not lean as hard on that melody and tbh I prefer the remix over the original. At the very least it's something to consider if you want a fresh take on the tune since you mention in the draft about how you might actually like the song

Hey there Delilah, Tubthumping, Feel it Still, Sweet Caroline and abcdefu aren't bad but I wouldn't want to hear them often. Radioactive is pretty good on radio but shit on youtube. I used to love U2, listened to them since early 90s. Vertigo sucks. Lowest mentions, baby shark and blurred lines. Fuck you Swoon. I got 3 minutes in and saw there were 3 more minutes and I gave up. Absolutely refuse to hear it the rest of the way. Around 3:11 the noise stopped, for about 30 seconds then started up again. Thats when I quit. Fuck Swoon. Eric, I HATE Mr Brightside. Hate Hate Hate. Especially hate that it isn't a terrible song to listen to with my brain turned off, but as soon as I start to pay attention I hate it again. Crash Into Me. Damnit, the music is great, the lyrics are horrendous. Can someone please rewrite it to the same music so I can like it? So goes my summary.

It’s banned for any aunts or uncles to play this song, my kids also know it’s banned. I heard Gus talking about how annoying it is and decided to never hear it. Even to the point where I composed my own version, involving Changin’ by Brass Construction, which has a ‘doot’ section. So, if the lyrics I knew got stuck in my head. I successfully preprogrammed myself so when I finally heard snippets of baby shark, my brain switched me over to an actual agreeable song. This coupled with rather active choices to avoid said song, I live free from the scourge.
