Other comments mention the tower and eye and ring. Rings of Power is a perfectly fine show, its taken tons of lore snippets and details from the Simillarion and other Tolkien books and expanded some one line statements into full plots. Season 2 was a big upgrade imo.

You'd play a game of "one bounce" or "one touch", (basically passing a footy between a group in a big circle), and anyone who failed to successfully complete a valid pass then had to run (or crawl) through a tunnnel made by all the other players lined up on both sides, who would kick the absolute piss out of you. Fun times great memories no longlasting trauma.

Generally to qualify as 'vintage' for something like clothes or furniture or décor it has to be 20 years old. For wine, there is a 'vintage' every year, but the term 'vintage year' comes from special wines like champagne and port, where they only put the year on the bottle when it is a particularly good year. For the cars, in AZ a car qualifies for a Historic Vehicle plate at 25 years.

He got his inspiration from Guy Fawkes and his ultimate goal is to blow up parliament. The movie explain all this including who Guy Fawkes at the start of the movie. So Andrew has no excuses. It is and interesting film, certainly in this times. The mask is now a symbol for Anonymous, so I would not mess with it.

Everyone could draft the nicknames that they want and then at the end everyone else picks from their draft pool like the one that the individual picked a nickname for them, but the catch being at the end of the draft you still have to pick nicknames even if you don’t like the ones that remain so you’re still going to have crap nicknames per opinion per individual, but you get to pick the overall like pull of nicknames that yours is chosen from and then the other four vote on your pool

So SHORT version: the eye atop the tower is a contrivance of sir Peter Jackson's films to visually get across the metaphorical all-seeing fire-wreathed eye the books speak of, Sauron was physically present until Isildur cut the ring off, then he was just spiritually hanging about in the world, he had a neat apartment in Greenwood before the neighbourhood went downhill and he got kicked out by the new landlords Gandalf and Co. before finally going back to Mordor and re-building his tower, where he chills at the top and observes events through his captured Palantir and his many spies (he is a fallen angel, so he can also just do magic, like see far across the world, but he can't see everything at once or fully understand all he sees, e.g. he knows his enemies have the Ring, he just has no idea that their plan is to destroy it until it's far too late.)
