As a previous AH fan AND as someone who will watch/listen to whatever you guys put out I just wanted to say that I don't do that stuff because I'm a massive fan of GTA or the NFL, I do it because your interactions and your banter are things that have gotten me through some rough times. As long as you are enjoying yourselves then put out whatever and I'll consume it, but I'm also not gonna be mad if you only ever put out the podcast and that's it. Because the biggest draw for me is how much fun you have, not how much of something *I* want 🥰

2025-02-22 16:48:01 +0000 UTCAs someone who has been a fan of RT and AH since 2010/11 I literally had the thought about a couple weeks ago of how wished you guys put out more content, because all of the games and podcast and everything else feels like such OG RT, but at the same time I don't want you guys to ever get burnt out of any games or feel obligated. I definitely like the plan of once running out of GTA or getting bored of it switching to something else. I definitely have enjoyed all of the content that has been put out already. Just also don't want anyone getting overworked or stressed about all of the content put out as well

As someone who is here because of AH (and agreed Geoff there is no shame comparing to AH content due to the similarities) I loved knowing a new GTA was coming out and would welcome the return of regular scheduled GTA vids It is also a great point that not everyone has to watch every video - I remember when I watched every RT video and while it became impossible due to the quantity I feel it would have happened eventually and that is okay. When RT closed and you went at it on your own I worried it would only be one or maybe two vids a week so if the odd one doesn't interest me with daily uploads that is no real issue

PERSONALLY I do find myself feeling the pull to FIRST watch the 30-40 min vids and favor the more sandboxy one-offs rather than multipart stuff like heists (obviously love it all though🤘)

I think GTA mondays sound cool, especially if you wanna play it and have a bunch of fun stuff to release. I think Monday series sounds great in general. If you're done playing please stop playing. Maybe it would be cool if mondays was just a regular series day, like monday gta or 7 days to die or minecraft. Not necessarily the same game every time. Honestly if you guys fuck up and run out of gta and don't have something recorded and then put out some other video on Monday instead but Nick doesn't do some editing where someone in the beginning says we fucked up but here's a video I wouldn't be upset. I'd probably just watch the video. My one and only concern w too much content is missing out on inside jokes.

If we are keeping AH in mind I personally got burned out of GTA videos because it seemed like it was “We have to do this video…” and you guys seem very self aware as I type this listening to the episode.

I don’t want this part to come off offense or like i’m complaining: Tuesdays are also just fridays stream. I love that you guys are uploading the VODs but if you were able to catch the stream on friday, you don’t have any content on monday or tuesday currently. It is also very frustrating hearing you guys talk about things that happened in videos and then knowing that video will not come out for several weeks at least.

Per the GTA discussion, I completely identify with Geoff's sentiment about it being nice having a consistent Monday GTA to come to. One concern I have is with the idea of "okay our desire to make GTA is over and we've run out of backlog. Let's not force ourselves to make more GTA.". That's totally fine, but unless there's a different game that you guys are passionate about releasing consistent Monday videos in, I don't think we *need* a Monday video. As in post-GTA I'd rather you guys not feel forced to make a video every Monday in a different game. Monday's should be reserved for recurring videos in the same game you're passionate about. If there's no video, that's okay in my opinion. I know that inconsistency might drive a producer crazy, but I think it prevents things from getting stale.

However, as others have said, I don't want you guys to get burnt out or feel pressured to get videos edited to the point that you're suffering. As long as everyone is having a good time and the editorial polipeline doesn't get too backed up, I'm always happy for more content.

Or you could do whatever you want because it's your company. I look forward to the GTA Mondays because I loved watching the things Geoff and Gavin came up with to do back in the day. Throw in you have Nick and Andrew exchanging "Wild Card" roles. I don't think it matters what you put out, most of us just really like hearing the exchanges y'all have.

The second you guys stop loving it, is the second the content stops being good. Personally I am here for the friendship that you all have and watching the dynamics and comedy of it, not a new video.

I love the idea of a Monday GTA, but I’m never going to hold you accountable as a company if you take a break from that or stop it completely. The consideration I have is that when you guys talk about fun/insane things that happen in gameplays on the podcast, it’s hard as a fan knowing it’s going to be 5-6 months before we see any of that. I love to hear your enthusiasm about what you’re filming, but if it doesn’t come out around the same time as the podcast in which you discuss it, it might lose some of that momentum. Just food for thought. Love you guys and thank you for everything, no matter what form it’s in.

Pro: I’m one of the people who really liked the AH schedule, particularly one of the early ones with GTA Monday, Let’s Build Tuesday, and Minecraft Friday. Part of that might be my own neurodivergence enjoying a schedule in general though. What I really liked was the PROMISE of content regardless of if I found that particular video interesting. However, you guys are already handling that by putting out a schedule every week. Con: Part of what “spooks” me of doing a regular GTA Monday is seeing video titles that look a lot like old AH video titles, like with the Flight School that just came out. Logically I know that you guys are just doing what is fun but seeing what looks like a rehashed old video sits weird with me, it sometimes feels like AH remastered if that makes any sense. Massive Pro: What I think the bottom line should be is your enjoyment. One thing that I always found interesting is that I would love watching old AH videos in games I couldn’t care less about just because you guys were having a blast. If you guys are having fun playing GTA and have enough content for a Regulation Monday slot then by all means fill it.

The thing I feel is weird is hearing you guys hype up something you just recorded, and then we see it 5 months later. I wish we could have a “talked about” episode show up much sooner than other recorded stuff, so that we are still hyped from the original. Don’t get me wrong, I watch it all and usually it’s multiple times. Love the content!
