2025-01-09 01:20:07 +0000 UTCIf we include arcade games as video games, I remember Pong came out in 1970, the year I graduated High School, and then when the Odyssey game console by Magnavox (I remembered Odyssey but had to look it up to find out it was by Magnavox) came out a couple years later which included Pong and some others.. If I go further back in my memory I remember visiting the General Motors Research Facility in Warren Michigan, where my father was a research physicist, and playing tic-tac-toe and a moon lander game on their computer. This had to be sometime in the mid 1960s. But those were probably more computer games than video games. They certainly weren't interactive. You typed in your activity and then the machine responded. Anyway in case you haven't figured it out yet, I am a Boomer, and like many in my generation I have completely forgot what I originally wanted to say, but I'm just happy to still be here, happily regulation comment leaving.

I subscribe to the services that I want when I want to watch something and then cancel when I don't want it anymore. It works exactly how I wanted it to. I do have the benefit of not watching any sports, so any sports streaming or live difficulties are not any concern to me.

But the actual legal game "Tetris" has never been a thing I have bought or specifically sought out. I would wonder how many other people are in my boat of incidental Tetris. I don't think you can incidentally play GTA 5 plenty of other similar games but I feel I have gotten the full Tetris experience from incidental tetris in a way you can't for GTA 5.

Additionally if you're going to talk about it in the podcast, its awful to be teased content and have to wait weeks or longer for the relevent upload. Whenever that happens, as the audience you've already forgotten when that content was talked about and most of what was said.

The way those carts work is when you enter the front door it activates the wheels where if you go back through the entrance or exit, it will lock the wheels. The way they are deactivated is there are sensors at the registers and as you wait to scan your stuff, they deactivate the wheels so they don’t lock up when you leave. When we use carts to do other things we have to go to a register and stand there for about 15-30 seconds for them to deactivate and then take them out to the cart lobby. Of course, they don’t work as smoothly as they make it seem and they will sometimes still lock up for seemingly no reason when you go to leave. We do have little remotes to unlock them. I hate them so much and am so glad when the system breaks and they have to turn it off.
