2024-12-21 14:29:39 +0000 UTCFun fact about Turkish Delight and Narnia: The reason Edmund was so enamoured with the Turkish Delight was because he came straight from 1940 at the height of the Blitz and rationing so to have something so indulgent and almost entirely sugar was like crack cocaine which goes some way to explaining how amenable Edmund was.
