Gifting Memberships & Note
Added 2024-12-06 17:00:07 +0000 UTCWe haven't talked about it much but Patreon recently introduced the ability to gift memberships to people. If it weren't for that feature we wouldn't have been able to include them as part of our advent content so we are thankful for the feature. I don't know how discoverable the gifting page is so I wanted to share it and spread awareness for anyone who might be looking for a gift to give a regulation listener or comment leaver.

I also wanted to express something that has stuck with me the last week.
When I announced that we were doing the Advent Content and giving out free monthly XM memberships alongside it the response surprised me. The announcement was met with love and excitement and support that fuels all of us on the team but what struck me was the sentiment of supporting each other. People immediately started vocalizing they wanted to add to the gifted memberships being given out. It was one of the most honest representations of what a community should be I have ever seen in a digital space. This community is special for countless reasons but consistently you find new ways to make me proud to be part of it. So I thank you for not just supporting us in all the ways that you do but for inspiring us and leading with your heart. I love you all and am so thankful to be part of this.

I mostly use the mobile app and I haven’t seen anything about gift memberships aside from this post 🤷♂️
