When we launched as an Independent entity it was terrifying, but from the launch you all have been so unbelievable in the support you have given us. Because of that support it has allowed us to contract out multi-cam editing work to two amazing editors who we worked with at Let's Play. The support by everyone here not only allows us to keep the show going but for things like multi-cam let's plays to exist. Jake and Sean are amazing talents and wonderful people so for us to have received the support to work with them beyond RT is something I'm so thankful for. I will never be able to convey the sincerity of my thanks and appreciation to you all but I'll take every opportunity to try. Thank you so much for allowing a space like this to not just exist but grow.

What I have really enjoyed over the last few months has been that absolute love the Regulation Crew has for what they have built, and for the community. It has also been so nice to see that love returned for the community. My favorite part has been notes like this from Andrew. Andrew who, I thought, was the jerk of the crew has shown deep emotion for what you have built and for the community. It has been a pleasure learning how wrong I was about Andrew, about the love he has for this thing you guys have built. I consider myself the old man of the comment leavers. Just before episode 100 I commented that at age 70 I might not be around for episode 1000, and Geoff mentioned on the podcast that you had to keep me alive. Well, I'm still here, I'll be 72 at the end of August and I still love what you guys have built. I'm looking forward to what the future has in store for all of us.

RT shutting down (I know, it's news to many here) was a sad day, but I didn't know something new and better was about to come. The first day on this Patreon, then watching the first stream, then listening to the "first" episode of the podcast, and watching the "first" Regulation Gameplay, it all filled me with a new, yet familiar, sense of excitement. I've never been one to watch streams, but I get SO excited when I'm free on Friday afternoons to watch you all. The giggles that come out from me when I see a new video notification are akin to a little schoolgirl. Your latest GTA Heist video is no exception. I genuinely enjoyed every single moment of that video, and I really hope it turns into a good miniseries. Lastly, I want to say that, while I fell in love with all things Regulation through the podcast, I LOVE what Nick and Eric bring to the Regulation Gameplays, Streams, and Supplementals. Not that the new wave stuff was bad, but this reminded me of the “friends on the couch” kinda stuff that drew me in all those years ago. Now with Regulation (and 100% Eat and all the other Patreons), we have a much more direct line to support everyone that we (or at least I) thought we were with First memberships. Now we know it goes all direct to you guys, and you’re using it to make even more stuff for us. And as a long time fan from the old company, it’s us that have you guys to thank. It’s more of the same but in a fresh new way. This is too long of a message, but it all feels important. I couldn’t editorialize it. But thank you, Andrew. And Gavin. And Geoff. And Eric. And Nick. And the editors. In no particular order. Y’all are incredible. Oh and I know it isn’t exactly in line with the merch visions but I would buy the hell out of a Regulation shirt.
