It’s so amazing to hear that the business is doing well and that our contributions are making a difference <3 so excited for you guys! Sending so much love.

I completely get Andrew's perspective, but to a certain point. I totally get the financial concern, but as the guys mentioned in the episode, there's a lot of i guess intangibles that comes from having a set work space where they can feel free to shoot the shit and go through the creative process (not to mention storage); sure someones house can be used but I can imagine that they'd prefer to keep work life and home life as separate as possible, without taking into account all the stuff that comes with trying to make it work and accommodate sudden meetings in homes. I'd argue the whole "not being in person thing" is valid but that's sort of the whole dynamic this show has run on for a while, no? I know them being in office for longer periods of time and stuff is different but. Anyways all this to say, much love to all of you, it was really refreshing and interesting to hear this type of open discussion on what other podcasts/companies would maybe shy away from airing.

AJ

This is honestly so wonderful to listen to. The idea of you guys releasing this with the very serious discussion of a physical location. It really sets the stage for the transparency and honestly you are all striving for. It is a breath of fresh air. I complete understand what Andrew was saying, but I also trust the Geoff to keep his word to Andrew. Geoff seems highly focused on happiness this go around, and this is a very exciting endeavor for you all. Eric is the voice of reason, and also correct that they need space.

ccelwood3

This episode should have been called sucking sausage talk. Nowt wrong with a bit of sausage sucking, but there was definitely a lot of it going on this time.

KVLT

I love how transparent you guys are! And I cannot say Thank You enough! I know RT closing was a huge hit for you all and to keep the content flowing wasn’t easy. I truly love and appreciate all of you! ❤️

Joshua Neditch

That’s me! Luna E! Thank you for answering my questions, na thank you for all you do otherwise ❤️

Luna Egan

If you watch anything from old RT use https://archiveofpimps.com, don’t you dare let WB make more regulation money

Psilocvbin

IOU 🤞🏼

not sure fomo is a valid reason to deny themselves something that would undoubtedly benefit the business. I've been watching andrew too long to ever call him selfish but his reasoning basically boiled down to "i'd be a little sad".

So about the office a few things people dont talk about. So in all of the cases where they "just hang out" at someones house or a coffee shop they are a burden to someone else. So if they want to do Legal Stuff at Geoffs house Emily needs to adjust to that, if they want to do a brainstorm with notes at Erics then Erics small wife needs to get that in to her life. There are things that are requiered to do for a business and storage is a part of it. So storing it at someones house is a HUGE BURDEN TO THEM. I currently live in a storage unit that my wife created out of our apartment. It is hell. So a storage unit requieres hoops to get to. Listen to the podcast where Geoff explains his journey to get to a place he is paying for and how difficult that was. And now keep that in mind and imagine you have a PO Box and you do that twice a week sometimes, and you need to sometimes open stuff you have there and possibly make content out of it. So another thing is that if I was one of them I would probably NEVER agree to filming in my house. I dont care about my own privacy but I do not live alone. So I do get what Andrew is saying about being out of content but it did not start with them saying "we can hang out" it was Eric saying they need a place to store stuff thats why he interrupted the start of the PO Box number. And Andrew saying no is very selfish to be perfectly honest.

Piotr Gruszczyński

I just re-watched Survive Block Island Meltdown on a random YouTube lol Also people should ease up on Andrew a bit in the comments. I think he's underestimating the value of the office (since he didn't spend a lot of time there in the past) and by the end of the conversation I think the other guys had gently explained a lot of that to him. No need to hound the dude!

Erimgard13

One day I hope they can get the falcon shoulder plush back. And I honestly I want socks 😂 I’m boring

SaraJade86

I too will give my 2 cents about the office. Although I understand the need for an office, I mostly agree with Andrew. The in person content isn’t really what I want when it comes to gaming and podcasting. Theres a lot of opportunities that an office space provides though. Some content was in person originally and having a space to prep that sort of content is a necessity. A storage unit WOULD be nice for storing everything but I’m sure there is also documentation needing to be stored as well. Soo yeah. It is totally logical but maybe not absolutely needed immediately? As a consumer I’m much more excited for the extra day of gaming, plus I thoroughly enjoy Andrew content. So I for one can wait lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cheems

Does anyone know how to download the video for offline watching, about to get on a plane. The audio version has a download option?

Ashley Medway

This rules I get Andrew's concern about the office especially the financial aspect with such a small new company. But, the in person content and other space that even such a small company requires makes it seem like a no brainer

Joe

I always thought that was a tax worry, but he's part owner of a company now... so... I'm sure they got that shit on lock down lol

Kelzoula

That movie is a god damned national treasure, and you should be fined at least one dollar, but no more than two dollars, for your current stance. Who deals with that? I have no idea, but it SHOULD be the case. Hope your day was cool tho! Edited for autocorrecting being full on garbage*

Kelzoula

Please don't tease me with does it do

Nick Prozorov

1:10 into the episode and I'm already dying laughing.

Cirynx

Really appreciate these insights behind the scenes, makes you aware of just how much work goes into something like this. Glad you're all having fun, happy for you boys.

Xeon1822

Andrew is definitely on a sick one this episode, I wonder how far his socks go up his ankles, he's sounding like a skante warrior rn

Spida Man

My God I thought they were going to talk about yarn based on the thumbnail. Boy was I surprised when the picture came up with context lol

Ryan W March

Hey all - Figured I'd throw my 2cents on the Office Space topic. Decent movie, a solid 6.5/10, though it feels a bit slow in parts. The themes explored by the film feel perhaps more relevant today than when it was originally produced. Printer scene adds +1 alone. Overall, probably not worth your time.

steve

Part of the problem is it seems Andrew does not like to be on camera, which I understand having issue with that, but it does limit his ability to be a part of things.

Megan

So this is going to be a dumb idea but I think you guys should buy an insta 360 link for andrew it's webcam on a gimble and you can control it remotely by scanning a qr code. Would be cool to have for irl content so his view isnt stationary.

CybrTwo

I get the fear of missing out on content, but looking at the reality of it, for this to grow and build and be able to expand, there will be a need of a physical space. Both to create content, and to continue to reinforce those relationships. Being the 1 person who is remote when the others live close is going to result in missing out on things from time to time, that is an inevitability, and something that needs to be realized.

Alex Meyer

Honestly some of the best AH and Fuckface content was in person.

Sean

I get the benefits of having an office, and I think as a viewer it could add some value. But I’m actually with Andrew about not needing an office financially. You have a small new business with very little overhead, I’d rather them use that money toward growing the content and offerings then down the line get a space that meets those needs. You just got profitable it sounds like, keep going with that till you know for sure what you can do and need. Love ya guys

Isaac Nicholson

As someone who has a partner who runs an online business that has taken over two rooms in my house, I totally understand why they want to have a business space. It isn't just a place for them to hang out, you need a dedicated business space, otherwise the business takes over your home life.

ViciousWarGoose

Andrew really is in the wrong about the office space. It really is a selfish view. I understand how he can feel "left out" but thats not enough reason to disturb everyones home just because of that.

Megan

Nick's " you lost me." At the beginning is one of my favorite things now.

Chaz Surfboard

As soon as I saw the Bram Stoker's Dracula Blood Armor was going on auction, I thought of these guys

Chaz Surfboard

let’s go further and give Andrew a whole army of roombas and drones to use around the future office

Eddie

Andrew needs one of those Telepresence Robot in the new office so he has a physical presence in the space I could see it leading to the best interactions. You can get them second hand for relatively cheap. https://www.dynamism.com/double-robotics/double-3-standard-set.html?position=&keyword=&device=m&network=g&matchtype=&campaignid=785804284&adgroupid=40007110974&gad_source=1

Clayton dansby

Andrew kept saying “a hang out spot” but he’s letting his feelings get in the way of the fact that it’s a business decision not a personal one

Woodrugh

On Gavin's "pretty sausage" discussion, it's reminding me of in the 90s when Heinz came out with like, purple, blue, green ketchups. I remember begging my mom for the purple one, promising I would use it and then used it once and couldn't get over the colour.

Kristen

Sad you lost thr Tuxedo but... Ace ventura shirt is going on action in thr coming days ?? Possibly just as iconic??? https://propstoreauction.com/lot-details/index/catalog/397/lot/137974?url=%2Fauctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F397

Oliver

Andrew: “I hate when you guys do something and being the only remote one” Also Andrew: … refuses to ever actually go into the states to do anything with the crew… 🤣

Giovanni Nieves

I realize I am not in Falcon tier but will we ever see season 1 of f**k face on the youtube channel or is that lost forever

victor sanchez

RIP tuxedo. But I have a thought; you guys should absolutely do this move thing every year

Kyle V

I feel like they need an iPad on a stick, mounted on a Roomba and Andrew can FaceTime in during any in-person meetings. He can scoot around in real time and participate remotely

Tom Herondale

I definitely get both sides of it, and it would be nice to get an explanation, but equally, we arent really owed that as listeners

Josh Finnie

Why don’t they kill two birds with one stone, they could do with a regulation stoffice, where they keep all their shit and just have a couple camping chairs for brainstorming office days, Geoff can even try and steal another whiteboard

Brandon Gill

Understand but instead of being sort of passive aggressive just say why you don’t want to come. At a certain point I got annoyed because he was sort of guilt tripping them for trying to get a space

Alejandro Tovar

It would be cool, but there could be a whole number of reasons as to why he doesnt want to / can't feesably do it

Josh Finnie

I think these guys getting their own space is exactly what they need. All of the in-person stuff has a great atmosphere to it, and brings out a level of comedy that I believe the remote stuff just can’t produce. It’s like watching stand up in an outdoor amphitheatre vs watching it in a dingy underground comedy club. The atmosphere is very important. It sucks for Andrew but the reality is that since 4/5 members live in the same city and it was inevitable.

Taison Gelly

I do enjoy the sausage talk about how the company works and functions, it reminds me of the old Drunk Tank days where they talked alot about that, minus all the talk about Lost and (thus far) less making fun of Regulatrion Fan Jack. And their talk of filming in a space put the idea in my head that if they ever were to film in Gav's Studio for any reason it'd be funny to have a print out of Andrews face attached to Gav's motion control arm rig and have it perform simple motions like head bobbing or looking around behind them or something similar. (assuming of course Gav has access to it, that kind of equipment is probably a rental)

Darth-Jasonus

Andrew having his own "we is not me" moment this episode 😂

Riley Pearsall

I love this Sausage Talk. I want hear more of it. This podcast besides 100% eat are the only two podcast I support that have people from RT

Chris

Andrew mentioned that the survive block island series doesn’t exist anymore, but actually there was a massive effort to archive all of the rooster teeth content before they shut down, so if you want to watch all of the past rt content INCLUDING all the paid first content you can visit the website archiveofpimps.com to watch it all for free, including the survive block island season that Andrew was in

Jasiel G.

I apologize for being the question asker that caused the office argument 😅 lol

Kristi

You should look into a robot Double Robotics makes, I think it’s a great solution for Andrew to be more involved in a physical office, he can walk around the office and be present on camera

Eva04

They need an office

tommy oconnell

I have a thought andrew make an effort to travel then jeez

Alejandro Tovar

Can't express how much you guys make my day when I hear you guys having a good time! ^_^

ryan mehan

Group Therapy!

Megan Young

You guys should share a space with 100% eat...????

Sariah

I agree with Andrew on his office take, it would feel like Andrew is getting pushed away from the crew. It always sucks being remote when everyone else is in person.

Wes

Regulation Studios, where 20% of the space is permanently in slow motion

DumGun

Can’t wait for the regulation fantasy factory

John Doors

Now as I’m a comment leaver, for any merch that does happen a trucker style cap would be amazing. Love the content!

Dial Kyle

Let’s get nick in them boots

A98W

Why don't they buy 1 thing from everyone they jinx killed😆

litlchef182

Not sure Andrew can argue much about paying for an office when they all pay to mail things to him

Archery Contest

and he loves me? 😮‍💨 Not again

Shadadowz

This was a really heart-felt and fascinating peek behind the curtain. Glad the crew is doing so well after the transition! I really hope you all keep a healthy balance and don't burn yourselves out! While I am excited to hear plans of another gameplay day, I will play devil's advocate a little and say having a couple days off as a viewer has been weirdly nice. It makes the days with videos that much more special. Whatever path you take, I'm looking forward to what's next!

Josh O.

I'm with Gavin, I'd eat Pretty Sausage.

Shadadowz

I love this idea but I can imagine this just exasperating his anxiety. Because as soon as he gets stuck he just hears them laughing and talking in a room around the corner without him 💀💀 but seriously, like Gavin said. Stuff that's remote now will stay remote. So it's a trust thing. He's gotta trust Gavin means that. And that's relationships babyyy

Shadadowz

It would take some fucking around but I would love for Gav to play the fallout 4 London mod

Sphinx_Jer

I'm currently listening to this, and i'm just realizing that with the shutdown, i have comfortably pared down my content to only the things that i would obsessively watch. It was bad, but i can't wait for new content from the creators that i look forward to each day.

Robert Gibbens

Can't wait to see the future of this company and all the joy you guys will bring

Ethan Martin

I was thinking about the show Video Game High School lmfao, put an iPad on a little Segway type thing.

Rinnalla

Oh my god, I thought those were hair ties!! Amazing Sausage Talk. Thanks for all the updates and being completely honest and perfectly you.

Rinnalla

What about Matthew Broderick's inspector gadget suit to stay with the theme of tech suits?

nick clark

Very interesting to see problems worked out in real time. It’s nice to see yall work together to work through discussions, even in the midst of some misunderstandings

Zote The Grey Prince

I have a solution for Andrew being more involved in in-person shoots. Rent (or buy) one of those telepresence robots that’s basically an iPad stuck on a stick on a Segway. He can cruise around and interact with everyone like he was there and can be more involved in the in person content. Stick his face balaclava over it and it will be just like he’s there. Honestly it started as a joke idea but the more I think about it the better I think the idea actually is.

Sean Larmee

Gotta love a sausage talk!

Trozzbozz

Ooo a little Peek Behind the Sausage

Christopher Wirt

I'm so happy y'all are doing well.

ScoobDrew

Thought I recognised the style, thanks!

Corey Smith

Sea of thieves?

What's the game in the background?

Corey Smith

This is exactly how the sausage is made.

Can't wait to hear about the full sausage
