Would you like more posts?

Whenever we have a new piece of news or content, we release a post. This makes complete sense and will be a thing we continue doing. My question is on days we don't have content coming out would you want posts of random musings or things we are excited about sharing? For example, I have been on a big Denzel Washington kick recently and I'd love to know what you feel his regulation film is. I also don't want y'all to get spammed with alerts from us. So my question to you is both what's your favorite Denzel Washington movie and on days where content posts aren't scheduled and we feel like sharing something would you want posts in this style?

with love,

Andrew

Book of Eli deserves more love

TheGreatMrMagoo

Hes never bad in anything but Equalizer was good

Cobra_ss

I'm also a huge fan of Book of Eli. Underated movie imo

Scarlet.Toyota

Fallen is the movie that first comes to mind for Denzel although Training Day is an obvious choice for most

Meter Master

He was great in it as were all the actors. The film is actually Jonathan Demme's first movie after winning Best Director for Silence of the Lambs! Different feeling film obviously but still very dramatic, I love the opera scene in particular.

Christian Ford

Awesome! Let us know what ya think of it!

Randy Brock

American Gangster

Anthony Cooke

This is actually something I've thought about over the last few years, so I had this take ready to go. Food for thought - Are there any movies with well-known actors that you think would be better if the actor was swapped out for someone else?

Eric

Training Day is peak Denzel

Lepples-Du-Oranges

Just watched this last night! I had no idea Antonio Banderas was in it.

Regulationpod

This might be the hottest take I have ever seen

Regulationpod

Inside Man is a fantastic movie.

Regulationpod

I'm so excited to watch this one

Regulationpod

I actually ended up liking Equalizer 3 way more than 2. I would agree though that neither sequel have the same charm or feel as the first.

Regulationpod

I think I have rewatched the opening of Flight more times than any other movie.

Regulationpod

Much Ado is awesome!

Regulationpod

I respect the move

Regulationpod

Such a fun action flick that I avoided initially because of how bad the trailer is

Regulationpod

The core of everything we do is always what we are passionate about. As you said doing anything without that passion is a disservice to everyone.

Regulationpod

One of the best movie trailers of all time

Regulationpod

That movie is way more enjoyable than it has any business being

Regulationpod

Tony Scott and Denzel are an elite combo

Regulationpod

For whatever reason it didn't connect with me like I hoped it would. I should watch it again because people love that movie.

Regulationpod

Absolutely loved John Q! I was shocked it reviewed so poorly.

Regulationpod

Haven't seen Fallen but I'm now even more excited to check it out!

Regulationpod

Never seen it but I know I'll love it so I'm saving it.

Regulationpod

I wouldn't say those correlate but I agree more Graysie is always good

Regulationpod

An absolute classic

Regulationpod

One of the best sports movies ever

Regulationpod

Yes big time!! As someone that's not a huge fan of twitter as a platform in general, I would WAY prefer you guys throw stuff at us here on patreon! ❤️🤘

Taylor Child

I’d have to go with Remember the Titans.

Apathetic_Titan

Training Day, very powerful performance

Scott Jennings

Yo Andrew - Need a progress update on your resolution to build up grip strength in 2024

steve

Does more posts mean an opening for a social media associate, a la Graysie? Because more Graysie is better, too.

Jake Carter

I think Man on Fire the definitive Denzel movie for me

Daniel Vega

His Regulation Film Id say is American Gangster. My favorite is Fallen, by a lot.

Randy Brock

This might help some of us use Patreon more often. I currently have a habit of just supporting the artists I like and never logging on. Stuff like this will help me use this as new home base for a lot of your content.

Philip Kramer

Remember the Titans

Ardvark Man

I love this idea. I think it's a great way to add a personal touch to the company without it getting lost in the clutter and messiness of social media.

Keith

I’m between John Q and Man on Fire

Chrispy McAwesome

I feel like most people will say Training Day but I think it should be Book of Eli. He said let me go ahead and carry this film on my back and it really works.

AlanW

For some reason I saw a lot of trailers for the movie Unstoppable when I was a kid. I think Denzel, I think Unstoppable.

Consider Me Elijah

Fallen is his best work

XxderrkxX

Training Day

Bradley Chambers

Only if ya feel like posting!!

John Baker

Man on Fire!

Sheree Rodriguez

I love the movie fallen. Probably shouldn’t but I love it.

Veldor

Training day, hands down.

Benjamin Williams Music

I can't wait for the next NFL season to see you give active commentary on Seahawks games. Who Dey!

AhriNaut

The Equalizer definitely

Cameron

My mind always goes to Remember the Titans when I think of Denzel.

CobWebb

DEJA VU RULES!!!

Alejandro X.

American Gangster of course

happyguy124

By all means, give us whatever nonsense you like, but never feel obligated. Once it's a chore it's no fun for you or us.

EssKayAye

Recently saw Unstoppable and really liked his character in that. Decent movie too!

Connor Folkerth

i’ll be happy with anything you guys wanna give us - spam my notifications i don’t care

Rebecca @geoffslaugh

I've always adored Remember the Titans. Though one of my guilty pleasure movies is The Taking of Pelham 123

CDS

Deja Vu was a great one.

TheComplaintDept

It’s a tie for me between The Bone Collector and Fallen.

Melanie Lam Carnevale

We don't need attention everyday, take those days to enjoy for yourselves. We'll be fine.

WickedD365

Gotta be training day for me. Every once in awhile I go on a training day clips binge on YouTube.

Sean Larmee

Any excuse to actually hear from you guys directly is always fun. Be it a poll about movies, bad takes, or whether or not you should eat the pencil. More polls are welcome

Marceoil

Gotta be Remember the Titans

Adam Griffith

Robert McCall; The Equalizer 😎

LucidComatose

Also random voice memos.

Ryogathelost

We always want to hear more from all of you, but especially you Andrew 🖤🤍

Preston Collins

Training day

WutangchickeN

The Equalizer

ANEGG

Part of the charm of this podcast isn't like most where its about a topic or thing. This podcast is about you 5. Your weird ideas, funny arguments and silly bets. Getting more musings, thoughts or questions from you guys no matter how random is always a good thing.

Mr Fedora Mustache

Had to break up the sci-fi /action roles!

Coquelicot Shirey

The Magnificent Seven

onlydraven

I was going to say Mississippi Masala as well! Glad someone else beat me to it. Carbon Copy is pretty good too, but I don't know if it meets "Regulation Movie" standards

Dusty Kub

Man on Fire personal fav

Spencer Coffman

Training day

Melissa

IDK if I would say it’s my regulation pick, but I have to highlight two Denzel movies I’m not seeing said — Mississippi Masala and his supporting role in Much Ado About Nothing

Coquelicot Shirey

Honestly I really like the Equalizer

Liam Borren

American Gangster has to be my regulation Denzel movie

Damian Swift

Remember The Titans or Training Day

Timothy Elgard

Book of Eli

RiellyRanger11

Man on Fire

Benjamin Garner

John Q

S

After looking at all his movies, I think I've only seen Flight. So, I guess Flight. Definitely going to watch some today though!

Katie Floyd

Oh for me it’s that train movie “Unstoppable” that you guys talked about before. It was the first movie I ever saw with Denzel in it so it just sticks out to me. Also has the best/worst foot crush in any movie curtesy of Chris pine

Sandy Blunt

Anytime i get a notification for a new post i get excited

Hunter Mackey

Deja Vu is always the one I think of and I don't know why. Remember The Titans or Training Day would probably be more regulation

Laurence Girard

Man that’s a tough one, my first thought was the Equalizer but I think Training Day or Rememeber the Titans is up there too. Don’t bother with Equalizer 3 though, different than the other two and super lame ending

Shelby Welte

I grew up knowing him from Remember the Titans, it’s such a classic.

TrikeMPL

More of you and the crew is always welcome

Ratmodius

In notifications, we can turn off "other posts" - as opposed to "paid posts". So, if you make the musings "other posts", then people can turn them off and prevent too many notifications, while still getting notified of the other posts they care about

ETeddy

Man on Fire or Training Day would be my two favorites

Nick Saltenberger

Travolta does excellent work in that. He was in a very shitty time of his life and powered through it.

R0GU3xx

I love Oldman’s character

R0GU3xx

The Book of Eli, still one of my favorite movies.

Zachary Lapp

Training Day 🥇 American Gangster 🥈 Man of Fire 🥉

R0GU3xx

Remember the Titans, DejaVu, and Antwone Fisher

Ivan Garcia

Yeah, I think the only movie on his filmography i actually watched was Glory

Zachary Hilliker

Gotta be Remember the Titans

James Cooper

I wouldn't call it his "regulation" movie, but my favorite is The Book of Eli.

Storme Sully

Hey Andrew you should also look into the Equalizer movies. I have watched 2 of the 3 already, there not bad.

Nerdrage800

Oh man, I was all about Deja Vu when it came out.

Chanselor

Man on fire and training day can't pick just one

Abeardyweirdy

Remember the Titans will always be my favorite. I know it’s a basic choice but it’s true.

Rachel F

Definitely John Q.

David Paluch

John Q.

Andrew Wicks

Training Day obviously lolol

Bentley barnett

1995’s Virtuosity with Denzel and Russel Crowe

Nick Martinez

Notifications can be controlled. Post away, I will gladly read in my own time. I had to go check Washington's IMDB page because I don't know any of his films off the top of my head and the only title I recognised was Inside man. But I think I liked that movie.

SamanthaS

It’s Between Inside Man and Remember the Titans for me.

Craig

More pencil eating content

Taylor Cummings

I'm all for you posting whenever you want. This post made me realize, I have never actually seen Denzel Washington in anything! I need to remedy that.

beavinator1

Fallen is my favourite!

Dana Rose

Remember the Titans

Marqujr

I like this idea because trying to keep up with anything going on discord can be overwhelming and this would serve as a more 'regulation' engagement topic. Also: Man on Fire

Mike Somer

The Pelican Brief w/ Julia Roberts

Mad_Mooney

Equaliser for sure. It was the first one I watched of his and, whilst his other films are mint, I always find myself drawn to that one the most.

Liam

I enjoy this idea. When I think Denzel I think John Q first. Training day is great but it is great because it was well written. John Q was great because of Denzel

Zibe Holton

American Gangster

Jim Keyes

The only reason I'd say no is because I'd like to keep the podcast each week as a fresh and surprising experience without any insight into what you all might be talking about. I also don't want a twitch chat like situation where a discussion here becomes content for the podcast.

Shignett23

I'll probably turn off notifications entirely if you do. I don't want more notifications on my phone. I'd suggest putting those posts into discord instead. American Gangster is my favorite

Matt

As long as the posts are interesting or engaging enough like the Denzel Washington example, I'm for it. And since I see everyone else giving their Denzel take, here's mine - Even though I think Denzel Washington is a good, if not great, actor, I actually don't like a single movie he's been in (I just went through all of them on IMDB). Whereas I don't like Nicolas Cage, yet I still think he manages to end up in a good movie here and there, like The Rock. I think if you were to replace Nicolas Cage with Denzel Washington, all of those movies would be better, even The Rock. But to answer the question - When I think Denzel Washington, the movies that pop into my head the most are The Manchurian Candidate, The Book of Eli, and Unstoppable. Out of those, I'd guess I say The Manchurian Candidate is his regulation movie.

Eric

I mean training day is a stand out, but I really liked his sci-fi movie “Deja-vu” then again, I’m a big sci-fi guy.

Steve McG

My gut says Remember the Titans, but damn he was good in American Gangster.

Ghintec

Surely it's Training Day! King Kong ain't got shit on me!!

Simon Oram

I know there are better or more iconic movies, but my go to Denzel is John Q. It gets me every time

Big Mikey D

Love me some regulation engagement

Corey Smith

Love the content, so release anything you want! And probably Man on Fire, if I had to choose.

Chris brown

Fallen is a very underrated Denzel movie that I love, so perhaps not his Regulation Movie, I feel it deserves recognition

Rab

Keep patreon for content and updates. There is no ability for people to customise notifications settings here. Random thoughts and posts should go into discord where people have full control of their notifications on a channel basis and you know you are only notifying people who want that those messages. If you want only patreons to see those messages just put them in the patreon only section. Discord supports polls and then you have the threads channels, you could create new threads each time if you wanted focused discussion on one topic with everyone. Thanks for asking and considering everyone's thoughts! Also Man on Fire for the movie, it's the same principal as Taken. I'm always surprised taken became so big, but Man on Fire remained pretty unknown. I find it much more compelling seeing the relationship of the 2 leads build and grow and can perfectly understand why Denzel Washington's character goes to such lengths. Whereas Taken was just dead beat dad and daughter and there's no reason to actually care about the daughter or the father as characters. Just some fantasy self fulfillment for all the dads in the world. Training Day is also incredible though I don't ever rewatch it as it feels too bleak, much prefer End of Watch (no Denzel) for a compelling cop movie in a similar vein.

dibdab

I'm sure you can somehow spin the random posts into content somehow so I'm all for it. John Q.

Kevin Barker

Really enjoying the Democracy era, especially after the horrors of the Cum era. And as for Denzel my go to are Remember the Titans and Book of Eli

Adam Holmgren

It’s the obvious but love The Equalizer

Toby Ives-Moody

Pelham 123 absolutely out classes others for me. Dunno why 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Adam

My favourite Denzel movie is Deja Vu and I enjoy reading any update

Ally

The Equalizer (just because it’s the first thing that pops to mind)

Kay

I have a soft spot for the taking of pelham 123. Mayor Gandolfini, Denzel playing a straight man to coked up Travolta. It compells me.

Mick 16

John Q is my fave Denzel film! But almost all his stuff is great!

Chris Durie

only time it annoys me is when I get double emails, but I think that’s a patreon thing 🤷🏻

Summer

If more posts means you're going to try and "tease" more stuff like on the livestream yesterday then knock yourselves out

DoughnutCool

I'll take as much as you can give thanks, always brightens my day seeing a Regulation pop up! BTW, Training Day

David West

As long as there was flair to distinguish between content and musings on notifications, I am on board. I don’t check Patreon for anything else except this show, so that would help me out.

Vater

Apparently I’ve only seen ‘Remember the titans’. What’s the regulation amount of movies needed to be watched to say what an actors best film is?

Psilocvbin

More posts. I used to love reading the old RT blogs. They were random musing half the time and were great

Nuckelavee Gaming

"My friends never seen " on Spotify has a great Denzel episode

Keith

No surprise here but Training Day would probably have to be the regulation Denzel movie for me. That being said my underrated movie picks for him would be Unstoppable and Devil in a Blue Dress - both excellent for different reasons!

Lewis Hoyle

I’d love any bit of content from you all as long as it doesn’t stretch yourselves too thin

Nick

Post if you feel like it, but don't feel like it's an obligation.

AEPSchmitt

Remember the Titans and it’s not even close. Strong side!!!!

John Bott

training day like everyone else 😂😂

Mae

I’ll say Remember the Titans. On the posting, if it’s things like this, sure. I’d say keep them infrequent though (maybe utilize the discord for some of them as like a pinned comment to channel).

Vincent404

John Q, no contest! That's my favorite movie.

Alex Tucker

John Q, that movie gets me every time.

SaltyTrog

More posts! 🙂 Also, fave DW film has to be Training Day, but Flight is probably a close second

Will Imrie

Training Day

Kieran Mckendry

This is literally my primary podcast at this point. Keep the posts coming.

Connor Dennhardt

Absolutely post anything and everything! I have to say Safe House is my fav Denzel movie, but I also haven’t seen many of his movies 🫣

SuperPotterFan

And then I don't get notifications for the content I paid an extra 60 dollars for because people like you are weirdly parasocial. This is what the discord and social media is for- not a patreon feed.

KLionHeart023

At the time of this post the general 346 comments and 3678 voters overwhelmingly approve of extra musings on Patreon and I agree with that sentiment. For the few whom disagree I must say that I hear where you are coming from in regard to an abundance of email or notifications being an issue. I also understand the idea that this might be something better suited towards Twitter or the discord; while those platforms are well structured for rambling conversations and polls this is the location that people are directly investing money to support the content with the promise of viewing content and interacting with the cast. To then place content elsewhere that people on the Patreon could miss due to lack of posts seems counterintuitive. My understanding of the situation is as follows: -Patreon: should get bombarded with posts, polls, announcements, musings, etc (to the extent that the cast is comfortable and enjoying posting of course). -If you find this excess of posts annoying but still want to support the podcast on video and podcast days then mute the email and/or push notifications in settings and rely on the YouTube, Instagram, or your preferred podcast provider to promote strictly the longer form content. [You (Regulation Crew) could also keep all episode and video posts on Patreon under the Free Post classification and extra supplemental, musings, etc. under Paid Post classification (or vice versa) and these post classifications can then be set to different mute settings by the audience but I would not recommend this solution] -Discord: should see more of the conversational side of the community as well as some of the exclusive events and streams that involve direct interaction with the cast -YouTube or your preferred podcast service: host the long form content that brought all of us together here in the first place and subscriptions to these would result in (nearly) only that long form content notifications appearing in your feeds. -Instagram: posts, as they were used in the previous show, acted as a roadmap to the episodes and supplementals where you could scroll through photos and view episode numbers related Stories were used to announce weekly or daily merch or supplemental schedules.

XeenxFox

We would literally listen to a compilation of random, non related to the podcast voice recordings from each of you for three hours and LOVE EVERY SECOND!…..We would also listen to anything from Graysie SOLO cause Graysie is the G.O.A.T!!!…..so use that information as you will🤣

Russell Richardson

Shit lost my regulation listener status by posting this. But responding to a survey is also not regulation listener. You responded, now you are a regulation button clicker.

Kevin Lewis

John Q

Regulation Tyler

I thought he was alright but no Training Day

CloudyVro

This is a tough one. Denzel is great in everything I've seen him in but gun to my head? I'd pick Training Day.

KraZidave

American Gangster

Julian (Spady)

I swear I saw this on the discord.

RegulationKiwi

I haven't seen Patreon, is Denzel any good in it? :|

Christopher Wirt

Tbh you're asking fish if they want more water. Yes, we as your patrons can only ask for more of you guys

Christopher Wirt

Patreon is so good for the communities of reg pod & 100% eat

CloudyVro

Remember the titans is good, though its one of his only movies i know well

Christian Carrion

Training Day! Love this podcast so much! Thank you for all your amazing work

Cory Covell

My partner and I enjoy his character in The Little Things, but my personal favorite is Training Day. Phenomenal work.

SpriggleWiggle

American gangster, but then again, im no movie expert

Koler

Anything you guys post I watch. So yes please!

Cosmo Garza

haha the 1995 sci fi hit... virtuosity... Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe... i rekin all yall would love it.

Sanwibe

Flight, my man nailed that one. Also my favorite movie to download and watch on a plane next to chatty people.

Chad Felton

Yeah, do MORE work Andrew 😈

Sam Passow

I love the equalizer series.

Jeff Freeman

Unstoppable

S0wndman

Asolutely have to say Man on Fire. I had to watch it for school and I enjoyed his work very much. I would love to answer more questions!

Ryan Sirk

and Man on Fire is easily his best film.

Marie

Looked up my IMDB ratings and surprisingly the only DZ movie I've ever seen is Training Day. So that

Colin Curtis

It might be cool if y’all did 5-15 minute solo recording of your musings to fill the gaps whenever you feel like it. Like a tiny So Alright

Marie

Training Day

Jason Rogers

Yes please! Especially if the title is a question like this, I definitely feel more compelled to respond if asked! 🙂 I've never watched the equalizer, but Denzel says my favorite line in the netflix preview clip; "progress not perfection"

Andres in space

The Book of Eli

Jacob Nadler

man on fire for sure. also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MORE CONTENT :3

Alanis Lynn-Munoz

i cannot fathom a world where more TRP content would be a bad thing

Remember the Titans will always be THE Denzel movie to me

RegulationFan52

The more the better. Seeing a regulation podcast notification pop up always makes my day.

Orville Tootenbacher

Man on Fire

Alexander Strunk

Where’s the fuck yeah button?

DixieNormis

Training day was a good Denzel film.

Tyler

Man on Fire.

Grayson Hamilton

Man on Fire is hands down my regulation film for Denzel Washington

Eric

Posts of random musings would be great.

comment leaver.

Would love more posts, but if it comes at the expense of your wellbeing and time on other things then don’t stress.

Isaac Wilson

Give me all the content, please and thanks. Also, Remember the Titans

Brittany O

Please spam me with regulation content, but only as much as you guys want to! Deja Vu

Ian

Book of Eli draft please!

Andrew Jones

Any and all content. We will eat that shit up!

Bobby

Omg I thought me and one friend of mine were the only people who know/remember that movie bc everyone seems to have forgotten about it! It's cool to see someone else mention it in the wild

Maria

Musings and random questions are great. Inside Man (2006) and Training Day (2001) are my favorites.

Kev

Training day is my personal favorite, and more post sound fun!

Ethan Marquez

Bone collector just sticks out to me I don’t know why but it does haha

Andee

Training Day, simply because of the Pelican Bay speech he has.

Fmg

Just don’t burn yourselves out.

WhiskeySpectre

I’m not great with movies so I can’t answer the Denzel question but I think musings and more questions and stuff like this is a great idea.

S0n0fAGunn

I think everyone from enggg should choose there fav actor each week and best movie they think there actor has real shine out there career. Like for me Denzel Washington movie I adore is American gangster

JAMES M ROSE

Training day and man on fire for sure, American gangster is def regulation as well! And yes, please share some random musings with us!

Angus MacMagnus

Lotta great choices but I'm going with Philadelphia

Christian Ford

Flight is the only movie I know that he was credited in. I was a huge fan of Black Box Down so it tracks

David Atkinson

Equalizer, hands down my favorite one!

Cristian Delgado

Remember the titans was a class room favourite for us when I was at school

Jake

The Equalizer (2014)

Roger

Book of Eli - his performance was phenomenal. I think this one goes underrated

Mary Walker

Inside Man

TheFlashChemist

What does it say about me that my first thought was Game Night?

Sean Place

Remember the Titans (watched it again today by coincidence before this was posted) with Crimson Tide either tied or close second. Those are average baseline Denzel, which is how I picture regulation being. Training Day and Man on Fire are above average Denzel, so not regulation imo. The troll in me wants to say Virtuosity though....

Kurtloader

glory or remember the titans for sureee

tayycro

remember the titans, hands down

tehqueenbee

Same!

Emily

Man on Fire for me

Ken Coursey

Training day!

Sam

It isn't the first Denzel movie you'd think of, but I really enjoyed Fallen.

Sam Dean

Remember the titans

Hector Sanchez

I’ve never seen a single Denzel Washington movie 😮

Mikayla

John Q

Kevin O

I have to say Glory. Why? It's legitimately the only Denzel Washinton movie I've seen parts of. We watched a few scenes in middle school I think. Pretty crazy bc I he is such a recognizable actor that's done a ton of movies. I literally had to IMDB him. Sounds like I'm missing out.

Patrick Barber

yes and remember the titans 👍

Abby

It's obviously either Equalizer, Book of Eli, or Man on Fire. Actually it's American Gangster but it also could be Training Day or Remember the Titans. Or..... But really though, more posts like this please. So we can comment regulationally.

K

And love having the fun posts between content. I can get overwhelmed by discord and like being able to quickly chime in and feel apart of the conversation, without feeling like I have to fully engage. A nice extra perk for sure, and people can turn off notifications.

Erica Lazarow

Remember the Titans!

Mark Perchaluk

I've been on a Denzel kick myself lately. For my top one I'd say Man on fire but I love pelican brief and The equalizer trilogy.

Godfatherrules

Training Day or Man on Fire, he is at his absolute best in both of those

Matt Hartley

Remember the Titans all the way!

James Bush

EQUALIZER

Erica Lazarow

It’s 100% training day. Easily the regulation Denzel performance in my estimation

Pete

Man on Fire for sure. And I will never get tired hearing from you and the Regulation Crew

XMchinchilla

The Equalizer.

Jenny Hite

Man on Fire

Fyurae

You underestimate the love we have for the pod crew Andrew!

Jason Curtis

Book of Eli all the way. It's the only Denzel that I've seen. Also yes I love random musings

Smick E. Dibbly

A great philosopher once said “gimme gimme more gimme more gimme gimme more. It’s Britney bitch”… really makes you think

Sven Eriksson

I found out i apparently don't watch almost any of his movies, but I have seen Remember the Titans so ill go with that.

Stardust

Bro, we're fans. We're literally giving you money we earn for going to work every day. Yes, I want to know what you're thinking. I give you money, because you're my entertainment. I want to know what you're thinking. Love that you're considerate of your base. However, I won't be annoyed if I miss something. I just want to support you! And laugh of course. 😂

DiscardedNick

Only if y'all really want to.

Shteve

It's training day. Honorable mention to the equalizer series, they're just fun modern day action movies

JivetheSuperTurkey

Feel like this would be perfect for Discord rather then patreon

Sean Boyer

Philadelphia or Much Ado about Nothing. Yes, absolutely yes.

Steven Rydarowski

Gotta be Training Day

Nicholas DeMarco

Deja Vu

dilydaly

Training Day. It's hard to pick his vest work, but that film stood out to me. And yes, please share your thoughts and musings.

Justin Pearson

Deja vu

Robert James

I personally would love to read some random musings from the regulation pod. Feels like a potentially fun little community building activity, which I am all about.

Ryan Hillard

Honestly? The Equalizer movies.

Louie Green

Deja vu

Zachary Larmore

I have two Regulation Denzel movies - Philadelphia and Much Ado About Nothing. Obviously, one of these has a much higher rewatch value (or, at least, a much higher "less likely to send you into a depressive spiral" value), but they're both great. For the other question, yes, yes - a thousand times, yes! Love hearing what y'all are getting up to and into (selfishly, it gives me more stuff to check out).

postholer

Book of eli for me.

Bob Jenson

Fallen...can't hear "Time is on my side" without thinking of this one.

Retsil Divad

Remember The Titans

David S

My absolute favorite Denzel flick is Man On Fire. Perfect movie.

IPlayPoorly

My go-to Denzel movies are John Q and Man on Fire.

Chu

I only voted no because I feel like those things would be better for twitter for more engagement. Might help find more people to sub.

CrystalOnyx

I guess my favourite Denzel Washington film has to be Yes. Haven't seen it or even heard of it, but it was one of only two options.

AlyxDerNarr

I think Denzel's best movie is Man On Fire. Just a good movie.

ExosEvil

The one with the trains. And the president one

Richard

man on fire

Dennis

The first movie that always pops in my head when I think of Denzel Washington is Deja Vu, even though I haven’t seen it since it first came out. As for the notifications, if it gets too much we can just turn them off. Posts are always fun to engage with!

Jesse Gax

American Gangster

Zachary Procko

I personally could not hear enough of you guys, but just like previous discussions on recording gameplay and content we don't want the posts to turn into a chore for anybody. I would love to see whatever dumb stuff you guys are thinking about, but you shouldn't feel like you have to think up something to post just because it's been a while since an update.

Booper2ooper

Remember the Titans

GordoniousCrnch

Remember the Titans is Regulation Denzel.

ChocoTRex

Training Day is my pick.

Marilyn Phoenix

Training Day is my both for Regulation Denzel. 100%

Joshua Dodge

I just enjoy you all, so if any of you have things to say, freaken go for it 😎🔥🫶

Goob

Fallen is my absolute favorite movie of his! Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it

Tom Herondale

I want notifications for videos and episodes, not for random trivia

Cameron Nutter

Just wanted to double up on the whole yes thing, and my partner said it would have to be either man on fire or equalizer

I may be wrong and would love to be corrected if I'm looking in the wrong place, but it doesn't seem to have any settings that would discern between "something worth listening to/watching!" and "Andrew wants opinions on the loudness of butter."

Friend

I'll have to go with “Glory” for regulation Denzel (is the first movie I saw him in). I'm always a sucker for “Inside Man” & “Book Of Eli” too though!

Dhuvy

I’m not certain I’ve ever seen a Denzel Washington movie but sure. More post is fun.

Mateo

When I think regulation I think average. I think what everything should be compared too. So by quick Google search his average film number 24 of 47 films ranked by rotten tomatoes is Training Day. But you never really defined what regulation means. Is it the best of something or what we base everything else against. Still Training Day is awsome.

Areyouagod

Training day.

Jeffrey Brady

This is the only project I follow on Patreon so the alerts aren’t an issue. I also do not use Twitter anymore so if any type of announcement is made there and not on instagram I would like to see them here if possible.

Knockout Nunez

The question is not what is Denzel’s best movie, but what is the Regulation Denzel Washington movie? And the answer is The Pelican Brief.

Craig

Whatever that time travel movie he did was

Jib Buttkiss

Fight me it's license to kill

Matthew Taylor

The Book of Eli

EvilxRane

who's Denzel Washington?

allidoisbreakstuff

Always here for more content. Also, definitely Man on Fire

Tucker Watts

My favorite Denzel movie is Book of Eli.

Dan Berube

"Remember the Titans" is how i discovered Denzel when i was a kid

Michael Miniere

Book of Eli or American Gangster.

Patrick H

Remember the titans

Michael Hoskins

I would love to hear random musings from all of you. I get a massive kick from hearing about what you all are up to and these random posts would make my day, even if it's just a "This is what the handle on the left side of my chair does".

john meagher

Unstoppable is great, but I think The Equalizer.

Landen Racine

I'm a bit torn on saying yes or no to more posts, because on one hand, I don't really want my notification feed to get unnecessarily blown up, but on the other hand, I'm always interested in what you guys want to talk about. I think I'm a yes overall. Also, my favorite Denzel Washington movie is Unstoppable. A damn great and tense movie, in my opinion.

Bryce

Gonna hit you with an oddball movie, The Bone Collector. It's got everything you want out of a good Denzel movie, and shows his abilities while being bedridden

DT Hugo

Luckily they’ve created a notification setting up top

Zach Anaya

The book of eli

Will Adams

No one gonna say American Gangster or Fences!?

JC Standring

Man on Fire. Protective father figure badass Denzel

Felipe Arcos

You can use the notification setting up top

Zach Anaya

There’s a notification setting

Zach Anaya

The Book of Eli is my favorite Denzel movie.

Elijah Sanders

The Book of Eli is my all time favorite movie. Denzel was fucking spectacular.

Jon Grajeda

I’ll be 100 percent honest there’s nothing I wouldn’t absolutely love from you guys!! This is the best!!

Ben Martinez

I'd say Training Day, and I'm fine with posts. If it helps y'all to interact with us, given how many there are, that's always a good thing.

FeliciaIsMaiWaifu

I totally don't mind extra notifications lol, so really it's just extra content with no cons 😎

Thindler's Lisp

I’d love to see the people who voted no to this.

Tristan Heiden

John Q hands down THE regulation Denzel Washington movie for me. I watched that one countless times growing up and cried every time. Such a good/insane movie.

Sean Burlew

I'd love to hear what things that aren't podcast related they are into musically and in tv shows/films. Might get a ton of good recommendations for new stuff. Also for me "Man on Fire" is the regulation Denzel movie for me.

Dinkleberg65

Training Day, and the more posts the better. Multiple per day even

ViciousWarGoose

I love clicking things on polls! I'd also love anything more you do on here, like post random thoughts, behind the scenes or things around content, more polls, whatever really

JoelTaker

Don't know about regulation, but it's my favorite off the top of my head

nyahlathotep

Yes! Feed our paraosocial needs Andrew!

Zach Anaya

It is close. Would make it an interesting draft, but I think that's also a lot of outside work to be honest about.

Man on fire

Ashley King

Equalizer

Dylan Brennan

I think a daily ping would be lovely. A daily check in. Days when there's content posting, no musings. And then a musing a day to fill in the rest. That keeps things regimented and nobody is getting unwanted surprises. Also, I think most might say 'Training Day,' but for me it would be between 'The Bone Collector,' or 'Philadelphia.'

Murk

Man on Fire

Steven P

I've been rewatching Inside Man lately so I feel like that's a good Regulation Denzel movie.

Ryan Alcantara

I would prefer to only get push notifications for new content, not sure if I can filter the type of notification in patron’s settings or not

Mikayla

I say yes as long as that is what y'all want to do. Never want anyone to feel obligated to churn things out just because, but I would love to interact with any random musings you do for fun. Also for me John Q is one of my favorite Denzel Washington movies.

Betsie H.

Only if it feels right. I don't necessarily want a daily post just for the sake of posting daily. But if you have something, put it out there for sure!

Aidan Swartzenberger

Training day

cole scharnell

Training day and then book of eli

Jon Provance

Remember the Titans

Wesley Peede

Man on Fire for sure

Kit

That was both my first Denzel and Russell Crowe movie.

Ryan Alcantara

Andrew, I live for yours and everyone else’s random musings, that’s why I listen to the podcast, so please give us all the posts!! Haha 😝 And definitely Remember the Titans 😌

Doug Araujo

I can't remember if I've ever even seen any of his movies so can't answer that question 😅 but I'd love to hear more from you guys even without video/audio content! I don't check social media anymore so have been missing out a bit on those random thoughts posts. Getting these emails with new posts from the patreon brings such a smile to my face, even with just silly stuff like this

K Ryn

Man on fire

Devon Heywood

Are there enough Denzel Washington movies to do a full draft?

WhoMikeYork

Recently watched flight, awesome movie

Devon Heywood

Equalizer

Richard

Training day, i watched it for the first time after seeing him as the hero in book of eli and in the equalizers. Seeing him in that role made me respect his range a lot. Acting and stunt work both on point at the same time the entire movie. Fun fact Davis Guggenheim was set to direct the film with Damon and Sam jackson to star! What a different movie that wouldve been. Whats your favorite andrew?

Devin Murphy

I enjoy any and all Regulation content keep it coming.

ChnadlerGW

I mean it’s gotta be Snakes on a Plane

Matt Baker

Deja vu

Andrew Perez

Man. On. Fire.

I like me exclusive content and ramblings with patreon. One person I follow gives updates on her family and their farming (maple from trees etc) so any extras me that is always super fun.

Brittany Lewis (Raeyl)

Remember the Titans.

Jacob Collier

Fallen is the best Denzel movie for sure

Rich Rank

More content per content.

Alex R

Not his regulation film but my favorite performance is Training Day, probably his most unregulation role for him

Luke Caruso

I’m torn between Remember the Titans and American Gangster. I think together they encapsulate the range of Denzel.

Illien

I personally always think of The Equalizer series for Denzel. Also would appreciate any post from The Regulation Crew.

mark burchett

Fuuuuck no. Please don't make me unsub because I get pointless emails. Feel free to put out fluff daily but people who care that much can just check every day.

Honestly either Glory, Training Day or Philadelphia are the best Denzel. However you also can’t go wrong. If I had to pick a regulation answer….Training Day

Folds2008

Remember the Titans. Love the idea of posting musings or even questions like this!!

Austin Martinez

Training Day

Jonathan McIlnay-Moe

More posts would slay. Also I wish I could help decide the regulation Denzel Washington movie but I just looked at his imdb and it turns out I've never seen a single Denzel Washington movie.

Much Ado About Nothing and The Pelican Brief are movies that very rarely get mentioned about for Denzel but are absolutely a must watch! I am fine with whatever content you want to post and when you want to post.

SnortingTurtle1 (aka Lori)

I think you should feel free to post if there's something to say but shouldn't feel obligated to

Kevin Kassidy

I will take more Regulation content no matter how it comes. Also I personally loved John Q, but I don't know that it's his most regulation movie

Frank G

For me "Remember the Titans" but I don't know if that is for everyone

Kill Dash 9

The Magnificent Seven

PKtheGarf

American Gangster is the first one that comes to mind. But I could probably be swayed. Keep the posts coming guys. So happy for Regulation content of any sorts.

Paparoach69

American Gangster is fantastic. I would not like idle musings on the Patreon feed, it would honestly incline me to mute notifications from this page. I get plenty of content from you guys in the podcast and the VODs, and if I need more every one of you has a social media presence (and I assume equal access to the Regulation Podcast socials) to post whatever strikes your fancy. Please keep the Patreon for Patreon content.

Kurt S.

Remember the Titans was partly filmed at my high school so I'll go with that one. Glory and John Q are also regulation
