She used to travel all over Tamriel with her father a respected merchant of Morrowind so she could learn a lot about the continent and its culture but she arrived at Windhelm and was pissed off on how locals treated the dunmer, so she swore to do something to help her people so she decided to go Witherun and ask for an audience with jarl Balgruuf (she knew about the civil war) and if she could take part in anything to help her people, so now she spend sometime in the drunken huntsman open to know people to help her in this mission.
