Backstory: an originally Hammerfell citizen fan of the companions. As a child she heard stories of adventures and honor of her grandpa when he was a former member of this clan. He teached her the basics of dual weild combat and some destruction magic, promising her grandpa she will be one of them someday. The day came and she went Skyrim to fullfill her purpose but it will be not that easy, Kodlak will not accept her until se proof her value, then a mission were assigned to a whelp and seem to be a great oppportunity to do so.
