You thinking the dad was Reese was too funny. But just some clarification on the Oni. Kitsunes have up to 9 tails. Kira’s mom has those little daggers and they are the physical representation of her tails. When she breaks the daggers it releases the Oni. She keeps sacrificing tails since stiles is killing off the Oni. At this point she has broken all but one of her tails. That’s what stiles was looking for at the beginning of the episode.
