Watercolour paintings, part 1/2
Added 2024-10-23 16:00:06 +0000 UTCSo I got invited to partake in this year's Gallery Nucleus exhibition in Portland! I won't be going there in person but I have been working on the postcards for submission. These are three of six that I'm submitting. The theme is "Scenes from the West Coast".
I was considering doing mermaids and more fantastical creatures that I've loved drawing since I was a kid, but I feel like for something formal like this, it's better to showcase some of my more traditional medium skills. I'm better at drawing fantastical scenes digitally, so I'll leave those subjects there.
I'm particularly proud of the shot with the sunbeams during sunset!
