y'all, I'm honestly a little bit sad about this story ending
(I could have prolonged the story by making it so that in this lifetime, Weili is the one who can't remember Ruo Yang. But yeah, can you imagine? If I were a reader, I'd skin myself, lol. That's not an appropriate plot point for this particular story - the entire story is about Weili trying to right a wrong, trying to have a second chance with the man he loves, and I'm an adamant believer about matching the purpose of a plot with a matching payoff. This ending is the only proper one, so... the story is ending soon, whether or not I want it to. :'))
