It is seriously an amazing epic; even as a translation it is a philosophical masterpiece, I can't even imagine how much genius I am missing out on from the original Chinese text. It's a steampunk historical fantasy with heavy political intrigue, based on real events in Chinese history, with a beautiful love story between a young general and a prince weaving through it all.
