This has always been the case for everything, at least for me. I started going through my old drawings, sketchbooks, and previous work for inspiration, and then throwing out stuff to see what stuck. The idea going in was to create a solid base that I can then use to extrapolate and reiterate many many times over and with this create a sense of both consistency and evolution with these OCs and at the same time produce unique offerings every time.
As you may know from previous posts, I am a big toy guy. I love my action figures. and one of the biggest things that draw me into action figure lines is the uniqueness in the action figure line: figures that despite being part of a line of products pertaining to the same "world" offer something special and different every time with unique characters and unique sculpts. If you guys would like a visual example of this, don't worry. I will attach a good example of this.

As you can see, these figures pertain to their respective worlds, yet offer completely different experiences with each iteration. That is what I want to accomplish with this project, With these... Flesh Shapes!
At the end of the images attached you will see a preview of the base work in its later stages. The work done will serve as a springboard of sorts, and it will gradually get crazier and crazier, in due time... BWAHAHA!!!
