Dark Mode (for Windows 10)
Added 2020-12-11 15:59:25 +0000 UTCSince Dark Mode seems to be the fad people go with today I've decide to join it as well and added Dark Mode support to CE
Keep in mind that Microsoft doesn't officially support Dark Mode in desktop apps, so some little hacks have to be done here and there to make it to work.
How to use:
Set windows to dark mode and start this CE build(After extracting it to your CE 7.2 install folder). Right now it does not support runtime switching between settings, so each time you change the windows Dark Mode theme, you'll have to reopen CE
Bugs/Suggestions?
Please report them, there are many windows and some may look better than others, or act weird with the new color scheme or GUI hacks.
Also report when the default color schemes contrast too much and where

2020-12-30 22:58:19 +0000 UTCAlso the new version? But nothing in CE's code explicitly touches that. It looks like some kind of cache to speed up loading by windows, or a whitelist of your anti-virus. Do you use any kind of shell-extender?

For instance I get as the last entries a name not found on opening this path in the registry: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\S-1-5-21-3484870832-261782703-1738419266-1001\\Device\HarddiskVolume12\Cheat Engine\cheatengine-x86_64.exe The "normal" Cheat Engine doesn't access this key.

Had a bit of trouble at first- when I ran it from the start menu it defaulted to running "cheatengine-x86_64-SSE4-AVX2", but after running it manually from the updated .exe it works great! I do have fuzzy text on the "Memory Scan Options" header text which doesn't go away when I toggle ClearType text, so I'm not sure what the issue would be there.

2020-12-12 14:57:49 +0000 UTCDid rename the autorun folder: unfortunately didn't help. Reinstalled the Patreon Installer of CE 7.2 to "C:\Cheat Engine" started the 7.2 x86_64.exe -> worked. Copied the files from the archive: same problem as before. What I have is a Firewall running (an external firewall, not the windows firewall) does the exe need a connection to some external destination? Maybe that's the problem. I can lookup the firewall log, but it would be easier if I know what destination I have to look for as I'm also using a transparent proxy and application control and everything has it's own log (so, yeah, enterprise level firewall).

2020-12-12 11:02:59 +0000 UTCIt would help to know why it won't start as it may affect other people as well, especially when it's also in the official release in the future. What you can do is rename autorun to autorun2 and then try , it could be a lua extension that's causing issues

I don't have anti virus software on my gaming rig and windows defender is also disabled. It isn't really important to me I only wanted to report it if there is some issue you should be aware of.

And could you please make the color for the separators in memoryview make configurable? The yellow is a bit hard to see and I would love to make them a bit more visible. :)
