Subnautica Part 13!

I am back! I have filmed loads so more videos incoming!

Thank you for being patient with me!

I found these next two episodes quite hard to edit down to make sense of my ramblings and decisions, I am not too proud of their quality but its okay hahaha, my playthrough is just a bit more messy than I would like πŸ˜… They were hours of footage, reduced to an episode worth of main achievements and decisions made.

Hopefully two parts up today though!

Subnautica Part 13!

You did really well considering you took such a long break. First outpost and the scanner room! Check for scanner upgrades.

4hrs+ worth of recording for a 56 minute video? What an ordeal that must've been! I think you did a great job piecing it together and keeping things coherent. You deserve to play a nice, simple linear game after this one! Completly off topic but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the new zelda totk trailer that's just dropped, any fears I had for the game have just melted away. It looks so exciting!

Mark

Hey, your first deep sea base! Good job! :D

Amber, I think you highly underestimate the number of Subnautica lovers who enjoy watching the mundane process of gathering resources and upgrading everything! And we come for your ramblings! Love them! Scanner Room Basics: The HUD upgrade will highlight the location of resources as you swim around. Otherwise, I believe you have to pilot the cameras and the resources will highlight in the camera, then you leave the camera near the resource and find it instead. But now that you built one, you can easily dismantle it before traveling and set it up in any biome you want to explore. Just have the resources to build a bioreactor and multipurpose room with it. Easy when you have the Cyclops. Incidentally, you can build a large number of storages on the opposite wall from the built in storages within the Cyclops too.

Another great episode. You handled the chaos well (at least what we saw 😊). On my 2nd play through, when I made the move, I built the entire base and everything I wanted in it, in the shallows next to my main base, then deconstructed it, loaded it in the Cyclopes, took it down, and reconstructed it, just to make sure I had everything. Nothing like being all the way down and needing one table coral sample. Drilling that Lithium below crush depth was brilliant! You did great!

Rogue Variable

Yayyy new base is always exciting! Don't worry too much about not progressing through the story, but if you need to know what to do next remember you downloaded a file with vaguely descriptions of all the alien facilities in a previous one, it's in your PDA ;)

As kruthie said above, chaos is most certainly the nature of Subnautica. All of us watching wouldn't expect anything less. Keep it up.

Ryan Williams

OMG! I don't mind your ramblings to say the least, that's why i watch your vids, lol.

Always good to see another episode! Like others say, you're being too hard on yourself. You got no reason to! Also, the thing with the grapple-arm of the Prawn-suit is that it's kinda broken, and you can use it to propulse yourself forward at super speed if you sprint and have the jetpack-upgrade. Takes a moment to learn, but then you'll never go back to the Seamoth! ^^ Since you can also recover the jetpack energy while you're hanging with the grapple, it makes big climbs super easy too! The Prawn-suit is what's gonna lead you to the end of the game! The HUD upgrade of the Scanner room is also what makes most of the room's usefulness!

Goblinounours

Honestly, chaos is in the nature of this game. Don't worry about a messy playthrough.

I hope you're feeling better soon amber! ❀️ You can build stuff on your Cyclops including grow bedsand lockers, handy source of food and water when going deep dark, deep deep down πŸ‘πŸ˜

If you already recorded more, it's probably too late to tell you this 😹 but putting a power cell charger in the cyclops is a common mistake, which doesn't make sense if you think about it. You don't have any solar cells or generators, so you're not generating any power, just moving it from one power cell to another πŸ˜… (The one situation where it does make sense is if you have the thermal generator module, and then when and only when you park the sub in a hot area, you can charge some cells. But you can also do that by putting the empty ones in the engine instead.)

glad you're no longer dying 🫠 you're always way too hard on yourself, you are always delightful and fun to watch... besides this game is a lot of dead ocean with the resource collecting and travelling and getting lost etc, it's perfectly normal for it to feel like nothing is happening or the pace is slow... it's the journey and the discoveries along the way that make it the great experience it is and we're glad we get to share that with you 😎

Always love to see those Patreon notifications coming in!

Thanks for putting in all the effort, personally I love your ramblings. Two parts sounds awesome!
