More Hollow Knight!
Added 2023-04-08 09:07:50 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I feel so bad about lack of videos at the moment, I am so sorry! Here is another Hollow Knight video! For some reason I kept on reading text in my head and not outloud which was annoying to watch editing pahaha sorry about that. But here we gooooo.
Here is the plan for April as it stands in my head:
Subnautica, of course. Not sure how near or far I am from finishing the game so its an ongoing plan haha.

Would any of you like to come to a private YouTube stream while I adjust audio and get used to the YouTube interface? I have heard from so many creators that Youtube comment section hates streams so I am not sure what a YouTube stream chat will be like ahaha. I have faith everyone will be lovely and it'll be fine!
But yeah, not sure when to do the private stream, gotta just schedule it and post the invite link here I reckon.
Here's what I have floating around in my head for beyond April:
Alice Madness Returns - was a recommendation, dunno it looks awesome lol
Zelda TotK - would be cool to do a full playthrough but I am going to be wiped after it, I am imagining 3 hour videos which will probably be an intense film+edit combination, I have taken some time off to try it out, could just transfer over to stream though if I cant do it
Dark Souls & Dark Souls 3 - Its coming at some point this year lol
Jedi Survivor - If people don't hate my playthrough of Jedi Fallen Order!
There are some others written down but I am not the fastest at playing games so we will just see what happens.

I couldn't tell from the way you ended this one, but *are* you planning on at least giving pantheon 5 a try? i only ask because it does introduce a couple unique variants of bosses, and one of them i know you'll absolutely love!

2023-04-18 07:56:46 +0000 UTCCongrats!! It was crazy to see how emotional you got after beating Pure Vessel at the end of P4! I had put Hollow Knight down without going through the Pantheons when I saw a bit of the PV fight on Youtube. I was so enthralled with it that I committed to getting good enough to unlock (and eventually beat) him myself. I then committed to P5 and (it was a long road) I eventually beat that too. It's WELL worth the effort if you feel like continuing. There's also more fights that change, some more dramatic than others (one that I know you will REALLY enjoy; another that I know you will REALLY hate). My two cents anyways... probably worth half that.

I actually wanted to play Alice but never gotten around to play it for myself. So it'll be fun watching you play it instead! 😁 I just finished watching your main Hollow knight series and just started watching your Ori series. Love those games! (and Hollow knight is probably my number one game of all time). If I could give you a recommendation for an awesome metroidvania game for later it would be Guacamelee! It is hard, but yet rewarding, and the story and dialogs are funny as hell!

Alice would be perfect for a lets play. One of the best platformers ever! Grate atmosphere and story. I replay it every few years. Will defiantly be there for a live stream. If you need trusted Patreon fam to help mod those nasty YouTube comments I would be happy to help.

I knew you could do it! :D I was ready to compliment you on your good use of the Quick Slash charm, but it looks like you switched it out at some point as your strategy evolved. I see you learned the hard lesson that I learned while going through these things that above all, patience is what lets you win. It's so tempting to just charge in and try to get extra hits in, when it's better to hang back and wait for your opening. Anyway, what were you thinking of streaming? I think it could be neat to stream some attempts at the Pantheon of Hallownest, or maybe the "Eternal Ordeal?" Speaking of which, I can't remember; have you found the "Eternal Ordeal" in Hollow Knight? If you don't know what I'm talking about, good! Maybe you can play it unspoiled. :D There's a breakable bit of ceiling at the far right of the Godseeker practice room that leads to another room above you. (It's hard to reach; you have to do a weird sort of dash and double-jump off the wall close to the ceiling to get it)

2023-04-08 19:52:30 +0000 UTCMetroid Prime had been my favorite game since it was released on Gamecube when I was 15, so that’s always been the game I’d love to erase in my head and experience again for the first time. The recent remastered same day release announcement blew my mind and I immediately bought and beat it, such an incredible game. And I’d say the close metroidvania style game to it is Hollow Knight. But Hollow Knight has overtaken MP as my fav, two perfect games though. Another great video, good work, you’re much better than you let on, there’s no way I could get this far lmao

I totally agree that Hollow Knight is a great choice for a game to be able to replay for the first time again, if we could have that wish. There are a bunch of my favorite games that it would be amazing to do so. Final Fantasy 7, the Zero Escape games (9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and Virtues Last Reward), and Doki Doki Literature Club were the first few to come to mind. The more I think about the question, the more I realize how many great choices there are. I'll echo what others have said. Twitch is a much more enjoyable platform for streaming. I assume you want to try out Youtube because that is where most of your following is? If so, that makes total sense. Your Twitch streams were quite fun though! Definitely doesn't hurt to have both in your arsenal, and I would show up for the private test stream for sure Hope you're feeling better!

So many players struggled with the boss rush, including myself :) You’re doing great in pantheons, I am 100% sure you will be able to beat the last one much sooner than you think ;) I’ll try not to bring any spoilers to the discussion, but one small hint: there’s another secret ending that you can get, and it’s related to the Godhome. So, still enough content for a new HK episode (of course, only if you feel like making one!). I personally prefer Twitch for streams, and I also heard from other streamers that they usually expect a bit more unwanted behaviour from YouTube viewers, so I would also recommend on having good moderators if you want to stream there!

Just curious :) Also a private stream sounds fun. It’s nice when you know only fans are going to show up instead of randos, you know? No need for heavy moderation.

2023-04-08 11:07:19 +0000 UTCYou might wanna try to bring a white Delicate flower to the God Seeker in the sewers. This unlocks a different ending for the last pantheon. The Delicate flower used to be given by the Grey mourner, but after delivering one to the Traitors' Child's grave in Queen's Gardens, it blooms around the grave, since the Grey mourner disappears at the end of the quest. Alternatively, a flower can also be given to the Elder bug in Dirtmouth, and/or to Nailmaster Oro, who's all the way to the other side of the map compared to the Queen's Gardens, in Kingdom's Edge.

As for other game recommendations I’d like to see on the channel, not sure if you’ve ever played Undertale/Deltarune? They’re some of my favourite games so I’d love to see those but so understand they’re not for everyone. The fan base can be quite… passionate but if you do play them I’d recommend playing in your own way however you want. Excited to watch the new video!

Your plan for April and the future sounds awesome, really hyped to see some more Jedi Fallen Order and Alice Madness Returns was a fave back when it first came out, add in Dark Souls on top and it sounds like we have alot to look forward too! Unfortunately, with the hours I work it's hard to commit 100% to watching a stream, but depending when you stream and if I'm available then yes, I would definitely be interested. Always up for more Souls games, not seen you mention an interest in Demon's Souls on PS5, but if I was starting a Fromsoft games journey, I'd start there. Looking forward to you getting back into the Wild Hunt DLCs. Thanks for the update. Edit: Just started the video and my curiosity is peaking, what film were you watching?
