Subnautica Part 11!
Added 2023-03-21 15:09:28 +0000 UTCDecided to upload Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order up on YouTube to gauge interest! May film some more this week alongside Subnautica! But the next two posts SHOULD be Hollow Knight now ๐ I have been chatting with some other Youtubers about the audio issues I've been having, we have noticed our videos sound far quieter on YouTube than in the editor, so I am going to try editing the vocal tracks louder than I usually would, honestly, in the editor I already sound TOO loud but when I get the video on YouTube I am quiet as a mouse lol. The audio buzzes and errors I think were cases where I had added a transition while the timeline was playing so it created an error, only noticeable when exported. Lol, the joys of editing. SO if anyone is interested, if you edit in Da Vinci Resolve, pause the track before adding transitions and what not, haha.

I'm excited for the Alien Containment Unit - fun fact, if you release animals you hatch outside your base, they'll hang around, but won't attack you (so if you always wanted the sound of a CrabSquid in the safe shallows... ๐คฃ)

2023-03-22 05:22:14 +0000 UTCThat was a fun episode! Lots of good exploring! When you do build the Cyclops, that beacon you named "river" is your best entrance into the Lost River and deeper. I think there are two or three other entrances, one or two of which you've found, but your "river" entrance has the most room to navigate the Cyclops. It would be advisable to try and find the Drill Arm for the Prawn Suit before going too deep as it'll be your best way of gathering resources down there.

I think you'll quite enjoy hatching those eggs. A small tip - try stacking the Alien Containment rooms vertically. The result is quite cool! P.S. If you use the perimeter defense system on the Seamoth again in the future, you can hold down the button rather than just clicking to do a much bigger charged blast (though it does use up a larger chunk of your power) You're honestly spoiling us with great content at this point. Always looking forward to more!

I'd want it with me at all times, so I can get out of danger quickly. :P Non-spoiler tip: I think you'll find the scanner room very helpful. It has a lot of nice features, both for exploring and finding resources.

Hope you're not pushing yourself too much to get the videos out (though they are much appreciated of course). Just be mindful if you're burning the candle at both ends it will catch up with you. 2023-03-21 20:21:36 +0000 UTCvoice volume is good but i would say the game audio can be a tiny bit quieter, especially when you're stomping around in the prawn suit.. the footsteps are quite loud on that. gameplay wise, yes, the moon pool only holds either the prawn or the seamoth (the cyclops is way too big) but the cyclops can hold your prawn suit so you can use them together (just be aware that the prawn can get crushed while stored due to depth if they aren't the same) going to be fun seeing you crash around in the cyclops seeing as you already crash so much in the seamoth.. good luck :P

Was another great episode, watching you try and piece together the lore regarding the infection, the vaccine and all the research is giving me major Hollow Knight lore-theory guessing vibes, which is fantastic! I can hardly wait for more HK content.

2023-03-21 15:41:55 +0000 UTCI've never noticed your voice seeming too quiet. The only pervasive audio issue I've noticed is the sound cutting out when you are peaking. But, I think that may have been resolved a while ago, and it's the only thing I can think of. Still, if you've got complaints from others, maybe I've just got super hearing powers. Anyway, WOOO! More Subnautica!
