DADS (and a train)

hey everybody! still working on the new HLTW. its been taking so long that i thought i would go ahead and record some more dialog for a bonus episode, episode 3.5 if you will. i needed some audio of an entire sports stadium cheering. the original plan was to go to an actual baseball game and record this stuff myself, but the season ended the day i got around to making plans, so i recorded myself chanting 10 different times, slapped some chorus on those bad boys and added a ton of reverb. the resulting mix actually sounds surprisingly convincing. while i was at it, i wrote and recorded some stuff for the bonus episode. its gonna be a short one and it will feature the same assets from the current episode, so the animation should go by quick.

all that aside, here's some silly sketches i did in the past week. i remembered that dad dating sim from a few years ago and the mere thought caused me physical pain, so i countered the bad thoughts with some REAL dads. we're talking new balance sneakers, fanny packs, and "indian affairs glasses." also i drew a TY the tank engine for my warmup
