you can see i lay down the final colours really fast, and most of the time is spent in render after that. i've really been trying to work with the final colours from the start and not rely on adjustment layers at the end to get the depth i want, it lets me have much more control over the finer gradients as i paint although there's always some small tweaks needed at the end.
i got lady d's face down really fast on this one, i just loooovveee drawing really soft expressions like that, you feel it in your gut when you get it right. maiden's was much harder but i got what i wanted eventually lmao
