Animations and everything work fine, but when the weapon is sheathed it is invisible. This is problematic because sams walking style leans on it so it looks odd without the sheath model. I have installed the required sheath mod and allowed this mod to overwrite it, but it has not helped. Any idea why the model is appearing invisible?

2025-03-03 22:50:37 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone else experienced this but if the Dodge MCO link isn't working for you search DMCO v2 on Nexus and go to the requirements, you'll see a link to Dodge MCO there. Might as well take DMCO v2 as well and it's requirements since it allows you to dodge cancel attacks. You don't need the backpack stuff unless you're using those though.

2025-02-20 06:38:29 +0000 UTCalso the scabbard is simply spawned in when you equip the ebony blade, if the mod is working, then you will see something in your passive effects in the Magic menu that says something along the lines of "SamEquipSpell" or something like that. If you have that, then when you equip ebony blade it will spawn the scabbard. make sure to run nemesis as well after installing the mod

2025-02-15 04:33:40 +0000 UTCHi! so to get the scabbard, for me the way that made it work is one of the following- - I took the precaution of downloading every single one of the prerequisites even the ones i didn't want to use - I checked the plugins to ensure that nothing was disabled (if you're using vortex sometimes plugins of the mods you install will be disabled) - after that, I went and did the ebony blade quest and got it naturally as opposed to just spawning the weapon in using additemmenu or something else

2025-02-09 23:38:57 +0000 UTChello, i downloaded the mod and all its requirements on Vortex, the animations are working on ebony blade during attacks and such, but there is no scabbard so when im not attacking the sword goes invisible. can anyone please tell me how to get the scabbard item and from which mod it is? edit: nevermind i have figured it out, but now i am faced with a new issue, whenever i use PA with the weapon it just does the elden counter move. i have maxsu block and hellblade timed block does this affect anything? it appears that after the first time i did the elden counter move, my character was stuck repeating the blocking animation until i attacked/sheathed the weapon and returned to normal afterwards, but then all my PA inputs would just result in elden counter move. does anyone know how to fix this?

I updated NEA and BFCO and re run Nemesis cache and even revert to the old update but the problem is still there, it only happens with this mod other mods like Wukong works fine. edit: also the weapon is invisible as soon as it is drawn

I mean the ebony blade is a two hander, so by default its on the back, so maybe something is overwriting it? But I'm not sure what, I'll try placing it at the bottom of my load order next.

I use XP32 Skeleton, and I was wondering if maybe the katana animation Mod was interfering. Would that cause the sheath to stay on my back? Wait, could it be quivers on the lower back mod? 2024-10-10 12:20:31 +0000 UTCNot necessarily. I actually had to reinstall all my mods. On the bright side, I did some cleaning on my mods-- deleted 600 out of 1000. Lol I believe because I messed with the OAR, that's what led to my problem. To reset the OAR conditions to default on here, go to your overwrite folder in MO2 and delete the SAM moveset json files. That should reset everything you had done to the OAR on here specifically. I haven't tested it out yet, so do make a back up in case I am wrong. I am simply speculating.

2024-06-29 19:57:41 +0000 UTCIt's actually simple, just open the nif you want to use to swap and the nif you want to swap at the same time, click the model for swapping to see which branch it is in on left side ,then right click ,copy branch, turn to the nif to be swapped , paste it alongside the one already there , remove the previous model in the end.The rest to do is adjusting the rotation and translation

I'm looking at OAR log, and it keeps switching between "Charged Attack in 2" and "Basic Attack", never going for "Charge Attack Done". I have noticed the Magic Effect "ChargeAttackAnnounce" & "ChargeAttackOpen" keeps flicking on and off on the checkmark on OAR menu. Any idea what could the problem be?

However I do get the issue that if the weapon is unsheathed and I sprint, it then shows a sheathed stance even if the blade is actually out. I don't mind it tho. I also get the issue of every now and then, seemly randomly, the normal attack button triggers only the taunt animation instead of a slash, restarting the game seems to fix it

Either way, I found a semi solution with the S.M.C mod, that changes walking speeds and stuff, and apparently I have to be under a certain speed value in order to have the sheathing animations not glitch out.

2024-01-24 19:07:34 +0000 UTCAlso, if your charging attacks aren't working, it may be from the OCPA configuration. I have mine set up to right mouse button and it worked fine for me for this moveset. Might be worth a shot. It could be a different story when pairing it with a different weapon / animation though

I just am not a fan of the crimson color. I could try recoloring the effects myself though. I will give OAR in game menu a shot though. Thanks again friend

2024-01-20 17:27:15 +0000 UTCalso! if youre looking for a flashy yamato moveset, look up skyrim se crimson yamato on youtube by skyrim prisoner, its pretty good! though its a tad too op lol so i still suggest setting up your own moveset with stances and you can use theirs for boss battles :D

2024-01-20 12:44:00 +0000 UTCusing OAR in game and disabling the condition tied to the weapon, put chaos yamato and add hasperk (enter stance) though i do have to use the normal attack and the idle anim from Anchor's otherwise the blade wouldnt appear considering this is for a two handed katana. you could do this with any weapons btw, i find this way easier compared to replacing conditions from the conditions file lol

Animation lock every time I finish combo or dodge I get stuck into place and can’t do anything until it finishes animation. During actual attack and right before attack ends I’d have to dodge then immediately jump so I don’t get animation lock.
