What the Future Holds
Added 2017-10-05 20:40:41 +0000 UTCChapter 68 is done, and that concludes the seventh chronicle, which in turn means the first draft of The Raven's Cry is done.
Because of this, my updates in here will probably be sparse. I'll let you guys know whenever we hit a benchmark in the editing process though, to keep you in the loop, and on occasion, I'll share anything I think is worthwhile.
The process for the next book looks like this:
Writing the draft: done
Alpha reader edits: in process
Beta reader edits: waiting
Formatting and ebook conversion: not yet begun
Book cover: not yet begun
Just to warn you, this could take 1-2 years - in part because I try to be very thorough in my editing, and in part because I depend on other people to read and give my feedback. Since those people are doing me a favour, I work at their pace. If I find myself waiting to hear back before I can do more editing though, I will continue to write future books, so no matter what, I promise that I'll remain busy.
