Vaygren - Lustful Temptations- Sprite Test
Added 2022-09-06 06:45:35 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned in the update post, I've been doing a lot of work on Vaygren - Lustful Temptation these past few months.
If you've been watching our production streams these past few weeks on Picarto, you'll have seen me rigging up some of the characters in Live2D. This is a quick test I did showing the versatility of the game sprites!
I've done some work with Live2D before, since they have a handy dandy After Effects plugin. Usually I use it for single body parts (like heads or boobs) which I then add onto a body rig in After Effects.
This sprite is fully rigged in Live2D, and can be dynamically posed and lip-synced inside the game engine. I've got another test video showcasing some of that that will be coming later, and I've gotta say... it's looking pretty sweet.
Originally, we were just going to go with static sprite poses, buuuuuut.... the heart of Vaygren has always been animation. We wanted to stay true to that, and so, here we are!
