She-Ra - Animated GIF

Have some She-Ra! Is it futa? Is it a strapon? Is it some wierd crotch mashing? Who knows!?
This one was quite the adventure for me. Normally, on the collaborations I do with Cyberunique, he does the rough animation, cleanup, inking, and coloring. This time, however, he handed the rough animation off to me.
So these were the roughs I got from Cyber. No big deal right? After all, I've been practicing inking with Under Pressure and Voyage for Poon.
Turns out inking a still image is a bit easier than inking something animated.
Now, at first glance it might not be too bad, but, ick, look that excessive line boil. There are problems all over the place, most notably in Catra's hands, She-Ra's bracers, her face.... all over the place. Inking is hard.
Try as I might, there were just some bits that I oculdn't get to look quite right, so.... I jumped into After Effects and animated a few bits... Mostly arms, but also Catra's ears, Adora's hair, and a few other bits.
Then, I brought that all back into Krita and drew over it, to get the final line art.
Then, of course, I needed to whip up a background, so I fired up Blender and modeled up a section of one of the ship rooms from the show.
Then I picked a good camera angle that matched up with the animation. Threw that into Krita and touched it up a bit.
Composite all together, and voila!
