Something about the word "surrender", to render oneself completely, opening fully ... Or perhaps not the word itself but how it was phrased, that took me, broke me down and rebuilt me into something else, reached down into the deepest parts of me and pulled me into this imagery where I felt remade, into this shining powerful thing. Complete. Beautiful. Defiled and reconsecrated, not into something for someone else to enjoy, but into what I myself know myself to be. This perception of ourselves you build for us, or rather help us your listeners create for ourselves, whether it exists in the outside world or is simply our own construct, it is priceless.
