A Hypnosis Lesson

A little lesson on hypnosis.

This isn't a replacement for hypnosis recordings. My intention is to continue those once a week. I receive questions and sometimes it seems like doing these is just a good way to answer. Maybe I'll keep doing regular conversations if there's something to talk about.

I really enjoyed listening to this - Thank you. I found it to be very interesting and informative. Resonance and rapport can create a telepathic link, so saying that you can "read" the mind of the listener (and, conversely, they can "read" you to some extent) may actually be very accurate. Vibrating on the same frequency can have some very mystical results.

Well said, I've noticed that too

It’s effective, and I think forces concentration and engagement. We’re a culture of constant stimulation and it’s easy to diminish the skill of being present and focused. It’s definitely something I would like to improve for myself.

One thing I learned to do is to say something then stop and give the person time to imagine it process it. Then move to the next statement or command. Some hypnotists just keep talking and many people can’t keep up when it’s important that they process what’s been said before moving forward.

I wondered at the get go if the cadence you use had something to do with this. At first it was perplexing because of the deliberate and halting nature and certainly not conversational as you mentioned. After getting to know the speaking style, it’s comfortable now. Side note: one of my favorite musicians (John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats) wrote a couple books which he then read in his own voice for the audio book recordings. Definitely a similarity in the rhythm of speaking which was a weird but not unwelcome overlap. I wonder if he does that on purpose too…

This was awesome. I really-really hope to hear more lessons in the future!! Super informative the way you describe things.

Yes. Yes. Mwaahhhahhhahahaaa! 😈 Share with me the talents of my hero so that I may walk through any door I please. 🚪 And, of course, uplift the people around me and anyone else that crosses my energetic field. 💗 PS. That chuckle/laugh of yours completely makes me feel butterflies. 😅😅 You are so adorable.

That's funny. I usually cuss a lot.

Deeper Inside Your Mind

It's a good subject.

Fun! I did recognise the patterns in your wordplay already, but it's fascinating to learn more about. Since I also use my voice for work, I have tested my different voices and have instinctively found that people respond so much better to a certain voice. I just didn't know why, so thanks for passing on the knowledge. You got me thinking about what else from this lesson I can use now. 🙂

I like when you spontaneously use profanity 🤭

I feel like some people are more acclimated to this way of speaking, while others may even find it annoying. Honestly, your hypno voice sounds very normal to me and when I think about it the few male friends and relatives in my life who I felt most safe and relaxed around had a similar speaking style and syncopation. I find it very difficult to stay invested in listening to people who speak quickly, speak without rhythm, speak with too many interruptions, or little to no intonation at all. I also speak slowly like this as I learned through public speaking and Toastmasters. They teach you to slow down and express yourself the way you want to. As a result I started speaking slowly and softly, it’s also easier on the vocal chords. But some people get SO irritated by this it’s obvious it activates something within them they weren’t prepared to feel.

I know right!

I'm definitely here for the conversations. Loved the little lesson and it's a delight hearing from Deeper the person as well as the hypnotist. 😉

Class is in session with Professor D! You resonate so throughly through me that I could listen to you talk about absolutely anything, anytime, anywhere!!! 👩‍🎓

More insights from “the man behind the curtain! I enjoy details about the workings, the layers of how certain procedures work. I’m looking forward to more of your recordings about hypnosis. I wonder if you will even touch upon QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) as you’ve mentioned it in one of your recent recordings. From here on, I’ll listen more intently to the hypnosis recordings you have, based on the details you have shared here.
