A theory to describe what is happening.

I thought now would be a good time for me to talk about a theory I have for how the world is changing at this point. This may explain some of what we are all experiencing in the domain of love. Sexual love.

Picture the evolved roles of man and woman over eons as something like this. This includes a lot of generalization by me, so it's not like a scientific description. Mostly generalization.

Man is externally focused. He faces outward from himself onto the world. He faces outward from the village. He leaves the safety of the village to go out and battle with the external environment. Acquiring resources. War. His evolved job is to deal with the outside world and guarantee survival through his outward focus. This is the thrusting essence of man.

Woman is internally focused. Not only does she manage the village while man is away. Her energies are also internally focused in her body while growing the next generation inside of her. She cares for the youngest children as they grow to the point of some kind of autonomy within the group and the world at large. She evolved to be internally focused on a personal level as well as a collective level. This is the receptive essence of woman.

The needs of the whole of the group evolved roles for both man and woman that were optimal for the continuation of the species. Woman was safe to focus inwardly and create the next generation because man was focused outwardly to deal with the threats of the outside world.

This is where I think a lot of the confusion occurs where we find ourselves now. This includes you and me.

Man has conquered the outside world. The village now encompasses the globe. Think about this for a minute...

In a world where a woman no longer needs a man to protect her from a legitimate outside threat, what role does she have for him? Does he still turn her on?

In a world where he doesn't need to protect and provide for a woman, where where does a man's sense of purpose come from? He may still be aroused by her, but is she aroused by him?

My proposal is that this is where the dissolving of an ancient expression of masculine and feminine stems from. The world is transitioning from a masculine based system to a feminine based one where there is no border delineating the village from the globe. So what we are seeing is a lot of women taking on more masculine roles and traits and also a lot of men taking on more feminine roles and traits. Because it is now safe to do so.

Good time for all! Maybe.

The issue that I have come across is that the lack of polarity between the masculine and the feminine in the culture (between the thrusting and the receiving) has created a situation where everyone wants to be a thruster and a receiver at the same time. And you know what being a thruster and a receiver at the same time is, Right? A masturbator.

Don't worry. It feels good. I masturbate. No shame in this.

So. Given the current conditions, I believe there is a way to reignite the polarity between masculine and feminine. 

Because the future is more internally based, we reignite the sexual polarity from within. This means an expression of sexuality from within.

For women this means a powerful feminine receptiveness that transcends need of protections. And still a love of attention for her feminine beauty.

For men this means maintaining an autonomous strength of self and at the same time an insatiable desire for that feminine beauty.
