Those tiles you uncovered were so lovely. I'm glad they're in good enough condition that you can restore them properly. The curtains are also beautiful. The color you chose is perfect and really pulls the whole room together. So glad Michael is feeling better. I hope Gwen and Archie are also doing well. So glad you're on the mend Michael. Those tiles are bold, but I love them. I hope you're able to leave them exposed. When the room has things in it, they won't stand out nearly so much. It would look lovely with a row of mixed white jardineres with trailing green plants, or maybe even just a pair either side with a low white bookshelf filled with garden books. Haha, how easy it is to imagine decorating someone else's home. Oh, and if you wanted the walls to have a look similar to the original leather wallpaper, could you use Lincrusta or anaglypta?
