Hello everyone, sorry for my lack of post on here recently. At the moment apart from the ongoing cottage restorations there hasn’t been a lot going on at the chateau. I’m really struggling to find ideas of what to film for you all. So I will be taking suggestions on what my next Patreon video should be. Please leave your comments below and I will pick the best couple of ideas.
A few things to talk about.
The AGA went back to England to have the front re enamelled as on closer inspection the rust had started to keep under the glass coated surface and was chipping off. At the latest it will arrive back here on the 20th of December giving me a few days to build it. Hopefully there are no delays in the shipping!!! It’s going to be a close shave.
The kitchen is also currently under construction at the carpenters workshop. I’ve only seen one photo of an oak framework so nothing exciting to show yet, but he says he is making good progress.
Also some of you may know I lost two of my beloved chihuahuas this year, Bobbie and Lola. I had been thinking about maybe looking a puppy once I had moved into the cottage, but a few days ago I was offered an 8 weeks old puppy that looks extremely similar to Bobbie that died recently. So although it’s a little early, I just couldn’t refuse.
He still doesn’t have a name yet so any suggestions in that department would also be appreciated.
On another note I will shortly be undertaking the huge task of writing and sending over 600 Christmas gifts for you all. Everyone will be receiving a Christmas card and two small signed prints of my artwork as a little Xmas gift. If you haven’t already received your thank you card I will put a special message on the back of one of the prints for you. I will upload one of the artworks here and a sneak preview of the Christmas card I painted, but the third print will be a surprise.
The last photo here is of Bobbie. The last thing I said to him was to hang in there, as I was getting the cottage ready for him to live in so he could sleep next to the nice warm AGA on the cold winters nights. Something he used to do when I lived in England. He sadly never got the chance.
All the best and look forward to hearing your suggestions.
