At the other end of the mountains lay a chaotic land known as the "North Wasteland," and the only large passageway through the mountains is guarded by an ancient giant wall.
Decades ago, the Nemesis Church discovered an ancient ruin near the wall and sent Katrina to investigate. Katrina's position in the church was delicate, as she was one of the three bishops directly under the Pope but generally did not participate in the church's affairs and instead focused on her own research.
Knowing that her friend, Cthu, was interested in ancient history, Katrina invited Cthu to join her on the exploration of the ruin. The two conducted a detailed joint study of the site.
Legend had it that the world had been vastly different in ancient times. It was said that the gods had once lived among mortals and brought endless disasters and destruction to the world until the three goddesses, Mercy, Justice, and Nemesis, defeated them and brought peace to the earth.
This ruin appeared to have been left behind by the goddess of Nemesis.
Unbeknownst to Katrina and Cthu, who were buried in their research, their study would bring great changes to the world...

卡翠娜知道好友克蘇對於遠古歷史很有興趣，便邀請克蘇同行，兩人對遺跡展開了詳細的共同研究。
傳說中，在遠古時期，世界的樣貌與現今迥然不同。
據說，諸神曾與凡人一同生活，並給世間帶來無盡的災難與破壞，直到慈愛、正義、以及復仇三位女神，擊敗諸神，才讓和平降臨大地。
而這處遺跡，似乎就是復仇女神所留下來的。
一頭埋進研究中卡翠娜和克蘇並不知道，他們的研究將會給世界帶來極大的變化……
