Regarding Henry's observation of Fugate's behavior during the killing of the Ward's: her later confession to the murder of Claire could be a PTSD type reaction. A while back I was listening to Morbid's episode regarding Holly Dunn, the only survivor of the Railroad Killer & Holly Dunn explained a particular moment when her companion was being killed. She told police that Ramirez (the RK) picked up a huge rock & repeatedly bashed in Maier's head. But forensics found that the rock used was so big, it would have been extremely difficult for Ramirez to have done so. But her mind stuck on that moment & that is exactly how she remembers it. Circling back, maybe due to the horrific manner in which the Ward's & their servant were murdered impressed this memory into Fugate & she might truly believe that is how it happened. PTSD could also explain some of the things she admitted to that seem somewhat plausible, but contradict forensics. Just a thought.
