Sergeant Fitzsimmons, Lieutenant Orvilla, and Sergeant Mien Hu all received Soul Tats as well, two adds and one first-timer. More were queuing up on the schedule for tomorrow as I stood up and called out, “Sister Calaystra! Prime table is open!”
The Amazon who had just finished up with her Mark bounced to her feet, grabbing her Inks and saluting me as I stepped off and Teleported away, whisked away by arcane magic to Quebec, and the outskirts of old Montreal.
The station I used had the highest Quality there, giving a very nice +10 Competence bonus to whoever used it. As a general rule, we always wanted our most powerful stuff in play, which meant someone should be using the best stuff at all times, not just saving it for the best people.
I worked on it when I was there, and it was always clean and waiting for me when I arrived at my allotted time. At every other time during the day, an Amazon was manning it and using that bonus to work faster, cleaner, surer.
But now it was time to start my Pyramid work again.
