I was having a hard time too. Go to your profile and choose to "edit profile". In the tabs across the top It will say "My user Profile", "apps", and " email notifications". Go to the Apps section and choose to connect your pateron to your discord. Where I was already logged into both on my computer, I think it just popped up and asked if it was okay if Pateron knew about my discord. Then I was able to access the discord (again.)
