So about 8 years ago I worked in the Pittsburgh Museum of Art and Natural History as a security guard, and they had an exhibit where an artist set up an installation based on the "I Hate Mondays" shooter. It depicted a schoolyard with toys and targets riddled full of holes with red paint dripping down, along with newspaper clippings describing the day, and that fucking song by the Boomtown Rats playing on loop all day. I was unlucky enough to get posted there more often than not, and that song burrows into your head. As soon as I saw the episode description it launched itself back to the forefront of my mind. I don't know why she hated mondays, but I sure as hell know why I do
