Doravar the red dragon
Added 2015-10-09 14:07:46 +0000 UTCI don't even remember when I commissioned this particular artwork. Only that it sat in my gallery for far too long.
So, this is Doravar. Yes, he doesn't have a proper backstory(like most of my OCs...). And, you guessed it, he's going to appear in one of my future novels(it's not going to be "Where Snow Never Melts" but an entirely different project).
I must say, he looks pretty damn awesome for a red dragon. I allowed the artist a bit of creative freedom with this one, and I simply love the violet hues present on the lower portions of his wing membranes and tail. Fascinating stuff!
