Declined pledges+small update

Hello there. I am going to post the story schedule for October during the following days, but first, there is an issue I'd like to talk about.

I've always had a declined pledge or two. They tend to happen for a myriad of reasons. Sometimes, a person runs out of funds, and if they have supported me for a while already, I am more than ready to pardon them and still count their pledge if it helped knock down a milestone. Sometimes, it's not even your fault! Paypal acts up at times, even if you have funds loaded into your account. That's a bit of a strange case, and waiting probably helps.

In any case, if your pledge shows ‘declined,’ I have one very simple thing to ask of you. Please check up your credit card information to make sure everything’s in order and matches your desired payment method, as well as your paypal account if you are using one. More so, make sure you have the proper funds loaded onto your credit card/paypal account. To be completely safe, you may want to load more funds on your credit card/patreon account than the required amount for the pledge, say 110$ instead of 80$, for example, just to be on the safe side! The information is, I believe, checked every 48 hours by Patreon, so if you follow these two simple steps, you should have your payment information updated and be charged according to the pledge you made.

Please, do this for me. There are a bit more declined pledges in October than I'd like to see, enough to put me 100$ shorter than the goal intended for the story sequel milestone(which was 500$).

I've also sent a message to every declined pledge, so if you didn't get a message from me, your pledge made it safe and sound to its destination.

And this is what the small update is about. Regardless of the declined pledges and shorter than expected funds, I am still going to write the sequel you people voted for. If the issues with the declined pledges are fixed meanwhile, we're going to have another voting session for the next sequel. If not, the sequels will be put on hold until the milestone is knocked down, for realz this time. Whatever happens, the story sequel for October DOES get written!
