Cyber Wrecker Company 'Fastview' that Harassed HYBE and ILLIT
Added 2025-02-28 04:37:44 +0000 UTCIt has been confirmed that the company behind the ‘Cyber Wrecker’ YouTube channels ‘People Box’ and ‘Daishu’ is Fastview. During a civil lawsuit, it was revealed that Fastview spread false information about K-pop groups ILLIT, HYBE, and Belift Lab. Notably, Fastview was valued at 50 billion won ($34.85 million USD) in 2022 and received 10 billion won ($6.97 million USD) in investment from venture capital firms.
According to the Seoul Western District Court on the 27th, HYBE submitted a request for correction of the party designation in the damages lawsuit filed on August 30th of last year. On February 20th, Fastview was officially identified as Defendant 1. The plaintiffs include seven individuals, among them HYBE CEO Park Ji-won, Belift Lab CEO Kim Tae-ho, and ILLIT members (Noh Yoon-ah, Park Min-joo, Sakai Mocha, Lee Won-hee, Hokazono Iroha).
Fastview had been suspected of operating People Box and Daishu (YOUTUBE CHANNELS & websites), as its domain appeared in the affiliate contacts of both channels. However, after suspicions arose, the domain was removed from their affiliate listings. Despite this, evidence from Google, obtained during the lawsuit, confirmed that Fastview operated the cyber wrecker channels.

Allegations in the Lawsuit
According to HYBE’s lawsuit, People Box posted a video on May 14th, 2023, claiming:
“ILLIT even copied the choreography of NewJeans’ CM song. They copied so many concepts and choreography that it’s impossible to count them all.”
Between May 8th and June 8th, People Box posted a total of five videos falsely stating that:
“ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans.”
“ILLIT’s song is plagiarized from other artists.”
Additionally, on May 2nd, People Box uploaded a video suggesting:
“HYBE is not actually an independent label but is simply run however Chairman Bang Si-hyuk wants.”
On May 11th, more videos alleged:
“The stepmother and the older sisters are HYBE executives and LE SSERAFIM, while Kongjwi is Min Hee-jin and NewJeans.”
“LE SSERAFIM received preferential treatment before debut, while NewJeans didn’t even get a showcase.”
On May 20th, another video stated:
“HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk ordered NewJeans to release an album, but Min Hee-jin refused.”
From May 16th to May 31st, Daishu posted four videos containing similar allegations, including:
May 16th: "ILLIT’s Minju plagiarized NewJeans’ Haerin’s ‘Rhombus Heart.’”
May 16th: “ILLIT’s Wonhee’s thigh scar is from atopic dermatitis and liposuction.”
May 16th: “ILLIT knew about NewJeans’ Minju’s ‘Kalguksu Controversy’ and still intentionally kept shouting ‘Kalguksu’ to mock her.”
May 17th: “HYBE is involved with ‘Danworld,’ a pro-Japanese group that worships bears.”
Legal Response from HYBE
HYBE’s legal representative, Kim & Chang, stated:
“The defendants are specialized issue-focused YouTubers, commonly referred to as ‘cyber wreckers,’ who have continuously spread false information about the plaintiffs through their YouTube channels.”
They further explained:
“Cyber wreckers target high-profile individuals such as celebrities, politicians, and athletes, using provocative titles, mockery, and false statements to gain high view counts and increase their profits.”
Fastview’s Financial Background
In 2022, Fastview secured a Series A investment of 10 billion won ($6.97 million USD) from four venture capital firms:
DSC Investment
Fineman Asset Management

Sparklab Ventures
The company later announced that in 2023, it achieved its first-ever profitability, reporting:
Sales of 33 billion won ($22.99 million USD)
Operating profit of 1.5 billion won ($1.05 million USD)
Fastview and HYBE’s Response
Regarding the lawsuit, a Fastview official dismissed the allegations, stating:
“This matter has already been amicably resolved.”
However, HYBE responded cautiously, saying:
“It’s difficult to comment, as the litigation is still ongoing.”

2025-03-02 04:53:27 +0000 UTCI can't believe they sunk so low as to comment on a scar on a young woman's thigh. I'm glad Google cooperated and confirmed the companies behind the slander. I hope those hurt receive compensation like Jimin, Jungkook and Hybe did recently.
