They further explained, "Despite their roles within HYBE's shared services PR organization, where they are required to promote NewJeans under a fee arrangement with ADOR, they not only failed to fulfill their duties but also diminished the group's achievements, causing significant harm to ADOR and NewJeans."

Hello, This is the legal representative of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, in collaboration with Macoll Consulting Group, handling media communications.
On November 25th, former CEO Min Hee-jin filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station against HYBE’s Chief Communications Officer, Park Tae-hee, and PR Director, Cho Sung-hoon, for breach of duty.
Despite their roles within HYBE's shared services PR organization, where they receive fees to promote NewJeans on behalf of ADOR, they failed to fulfill their responsibilities. Instead, they minimized the group’s achievements, causing severe harm to both ADOR and NewJeans. We call for appropriate criminal penalties for their actions.

At the time, the factual context of this story is that NewJeans' Japanese album sold 38,000 copies, but a journalist falsely reported that it sold 1 million copies. When HYBE's PR director clarified that this was not true, the journalist responded, "Isn't it good if it goes viral that they sold a lot?"
HYBE then reportedly asked for the figure to be adjusted to around 50,000 copies, saying that the actual sales were lower. Journalist Jang Hyung-woo later claimed that he was trying to elevate NewJeans, but HYBE was blocking his efforts, accusing HYBE of oppressing NewJeans during an appearance on Kim Hyun-jung's News Show. Afterward, he failed to transfer to Kakao and ended up working under a member of the National Assembly.

So odd... (I feel like I am repeating myself, but I don't know, anymore.) This is so dumb. Criminal charges- for what??? Maybe HYBE could spend more time and money on New Jeans and other artists IF so much of company resources wasn't wasted on the snake's B.S. 😒
