Min Hee-jin, "BTS V contacted me after the first press conference... I was touched" ('School of Music')

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin recently spoke openly about the conflict between HYBE and ADOR during her first press conference, discussing her experiences on critic Kim Young-dae’s YouTube channel, Kim Young-dae’s School of Music, on the 29th.

In the interview, Kim Young-dae asked Min if she felt that the public’s image of her had changed since the press conference, to which she replied, “I hadn’t considered it, but perhaps it’s true.” She added humorously, “I’ve shown my raw self, so I guess I’ve grown numb to the idea of keeping up appearances. Now I can step forward with authenticity.”

Min Hee-jin also shared a touching story about her friendship with V, who occasionally calls her from his military service. She recalled, “He’s doing really well and is such a bright person. We speak informally, and even with everything I’m going through, he checks in with a cheerful ‘Are you okay?’ He seems to know exactly when to reach out. He even sent me a message early on my birthday.”

Reflecting on V’s kindness, she said, “He’s such a thoughtful person. I was genuinely touched, and I think it shows his true character.” She continued, sharing that V once questioned whether he should reveal his true self to the world, and she acknowledged that it was a deeply personal moment for him.

Min Hee-jin then described her decision to hold back at the press conference, saying, “I restrained myself and limited the things I wanted to express. Honestly, I didn’t memorize a script; I spoke directly from my own experience. The lawyers tried to dissuade me, but those who knew me understood that I would speak candidly. I went into it determined to share my truth in the order I experienced it, as I wanted it to be authentic.”

She continued, “Despite my anger, I found the situation almost comedic at times. To anyone who understood, it must have seemed like some strange, dark comedy. I was frustrated, but I realized that if I spoke for hours, people would struggle to process everything, so I kept it to two and a half hours.”

Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin’s injunction to be reinstated as ADOR’s CEO was recently dismissed by the Seoul Central District Court’s 50th Civil Agreement Division (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon). The dismissal closed the case without judgment on its merits, citing insufficient legal grounds to proceed.

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin shared her thoughts following the court’s dismissal of her injunction request.

On the 29th, Min appeared on critic Kim Young-dae’s YouTube channel, Kim Young-dae’s School of Music, where she participated in an interview and shared her perspective.

Min began by addressing her reputation as a “topic of conversation.” She admitted, “People often call me a ‘topic of conversation,’ but it’s never really resonated with me. However, today happens to be BUNNIES' (NewJeans fandom) anniversary. When they offered me a few dates for this live broadcast, I chose today, thinking, ‘If I’m going to do it, let’s make it meaningful for BUNNIES.’ I didn’t anticipate that the injunction result would also be released today, so now it really feels like fate to be at the center of attention.”

Music critic Kim Young-dae responded, “Had I known today was such an important day, I would have suggested a different date,” to which Min replied, “I think I would have still said yes. You've shown such strong support for NewJeans since the beginning.”

Since April, Min Hee-jin has been in a dispute with HYBE. While she seeks reinstatement as CEO of ADOR, HYBE maintains that the CEO change was carried out through proper procedures.

On the 29th, Min’s request for an injunction to convene an extraordinary general meeting of ADOR shareholders and reappoint ADOR’s executive directors was dismissed. In response, HYBE expressed, “We appreciate the court’s wise decision. With this ruling, HYBE will focus on normalizing ADOR’s operations, strengthening its multi-label approach, and supporting its artists’ activities.” Min Hee-jin’s team, however, reiterated, “We again call for the reappointment of ADOR’s CEO.”

Oh my gosh... I am so angry with this chick. (I saw your live but did not see this until just now.) Why is she sharing what Tae told her in confidence!?! She didn't say anything directly but hinted, strongly, towards it. Arg! Why couldn't she just leave Tae alone. She says that the birthday message was "early" ... which is what I was thinking, he probably just sent it a week early. Makes sense... Our boys are awesome human beings and they just finished working together on a project that was very dear to V. I just have these thoughts of her pulling her little tricks on Tae... so glad she didn't have that much time with him. ARG! She is so icky!

My Nanny had a saying “I don’t trust her as far as I could throw her & that’s not very far.” I believe this was intentional. She knows he was in training in December & wasn’t allowed a phone so if true, he was in violation of the rules. This causes an uproar, possible investigation (which some reports say is happening). This damages HYBE: BTS gets preferential treatment or violates rules; BTS supports her. Then if she’s reminded that he couldn’t have or proved he didn’t she innocently says wearing that damn baseball cap “ oh, I meant my actual birthday.” One way or another the whole thing shifts the public’s focus. That’s a good word to describe her- shifty. Yes, I know this sounds crazy but she is that devious.
