TLDR: Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin explained that she’s fighting back against HYBE despite the legal fees reaching 2.3 billion won, as they keep filing lawsuits to drain her resources. She’s determined to win, saying she’s innocent and won’t back down even if it means selling her house. Min Hee-jin plans to document the entire conflict and is confident that the truth will eventually come out. She was dismissed as ADOR's CEO last month but continues to battle against HYBE.

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has opened up about why she’s fighting back against HYBE.

Speaking at the '2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel' event held in Itaewon on the 29th, Min Hee-jin, now an inside director at ADOR, shared details about her ongoing conflict with HYBE.

Min Hee-jin explained, "My legal fees have reached 2.3 billion won so far. They keep filing meaningless lawsuits to wear me down, hoping I'll run out of money. If I continue to fight, I could go bankrupt." She continued, "Fortunately, I'm not someone who saves money; I tend to spend it, so I’m not rich at all. It looks like I might have to sell my house because of this lawsuit, but I thought, ‘Maybe this is why I kept my house.’ I’m genuinely grateful because, without it, I wouldn’t know what to do."

She added humorously, "I want to fight back and stand my ground, but without money, I can't do much. I’m also thankful that I don’t have a husband or children to worry about. How could an ordinary person handle legal expenses that increase by tens of billions of won every three months? That’s why I’m determined to win and end this battle."

Min Hee-jin expressed her resolve, saying, "I’m holding on because I don’t want this to turn into a fight where only those with money win. Since April, I’ve felt under attack, with accusations that I took over without reason. My lawyers and I were baffled, thinking, 'What’s the problem?' We had no idea what they were talking about." She expressed her confidence, stating, "I’m certain I’ll win because I know I’m innocent."

She emphasized, "You can’t create a crime out of nothing. No matter how much they try to exaggerate, the truth will eventually come out. I believe in the natural order of things. While I’ve been treated unfairly, I know there's a reason behind it," and she added, "This kind of situation is rare. I’m planning to make a documentary about the entire process."

Min Hee-jin, who previously mentioned that she doesn’t cope with stress through alcohol, smoking, or entertainment, said, "I just go back and forth between my studio and home every day. Looking back, I’m glad I’ve lived this way. Even my lawyers said they respect me. Most people in situations like this tend to give up when faced with embarrassment or pressure."

She confidently concluded, "The fact that things have reached this point means there’s nothing legitimate to charge me with. Are they just making up reasons to accuse me? I don't care."

Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin was dismissed from her CEO position at ADOR following a board meeting on the 27th of last month and continues to be in conflict with HYBE over this matter.

Boohoo cry me a river…I guess a positive benefit of being the “mother” of NJ is hopefully one of her families will take her in if she loses her house. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the no drinking comment is a jab at Suga?

Today I was going to watch some clips from her talk but I couldn't stand listening to her voice so I deleted them. I really appreciate AE&C for her reports they are much easier to digest than Min going on & on. THANK YOU
