IS HYBE CHAIRMAN BANG SIHYUK REALLY IGNORING NEWJEANS?

The article mentioned Bang Sihyuk already explained he does not go to his artist's concerts or events to prevent putting any psychological pressure. However, Bang invited Le Sserafim to his LA home which he hasn't done to NEWJEANS. That "might" be proof that he has less "affection" for NEWJEANS.

During a teary press conference on April 25, Min Hee-jin, CEO of Ador, the K-pop agency behind the popular girl band NewJeans under Hybe, raised concerns about Hybe Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s poor treatment of the quintet.
In May, the parents of NewJeans members revealed in a local media interview that Bang had regularly ignored the band’s greetings at the company’s Seoul headquarters, even before the controversy erupted.
Hybe denied these claims, attributing Bang's behavior to his face blindness disorder. However, the parents refuted this explanation, questioning, “Even if you have face blindness, can’t you still hear voices? And even if you don’t recognize someone, wouldn’t you typically return a greeting?”
Bang’s attitude towards NewJeans does not seem to have changed. He did not attend NewJeans’ significant fan meeting event, “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,” held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on June 26 and 27. According to Ador, these events were particularly meaningful as NewJeans became the fastest non-Japanese musicians to perform at Tokyo Dome, achieving this milestone just one year and 11 months after their debut in 2022. Bang also made no public mention of the event.
This contrasts sharply with his participation in the 2024 Festa in Seoul on June 13, an annual fan meeting event celebrating BTS’ anniversary, where he congratulated Jin on completing his military service and shared a photo with him on Instagram.
In a brief teaser of the reality TV show “Point of Omniscient Interfere,” aired by MBC on June 29, Bang was seen meeting with the K-pop boy band Enhypen of Belift Lab, another music label under Hybe, and conversing with them in the waiting room after their performance at Weverse Con, Hybe’s annual music festival held in Seoul on June 16.
In November of last year, Bang attended legendary K-pop star Uhm Jung-hwa’s solo concert to show his support and promoted it on his social media.
Bang’s Instagram account has no posts about NewJeans.
Bang has previously stated in local interviews that he does not attend an artist’s concert or event unless officially invited, to avoid putting psychological pressure on the musicians, who might perceive his presence as arrogant. He also maintains a strict policy of not interfering with the independent management of Hybe’s music labels.
Nonetheless, it appears that Bang has less affection for NewJeans than for other Hybe-affiliated artists. In March, Hong Eun-chae of Le Sserafim, another K-pop girl band managed by Source Music under Hybe, mentioned on her YouTube channel "Eunchae's Star Diary" that Bang had invited all the members to his luxury mansion in Los Angeles. There have been no reports of NewJeans having a private meeting with Bang in the US, despite their larger presence there compared to Le Sserafim.
In an earlier episode of "Eunchae's Star Diary" aired in February, Le Sserafim members Huh Yun-jin and Sakura Miyawaki were given a mission by fans to text Bang and see who would receive a reply first. They all received a message back from Bang within 40 minutes, demonstrating their close relationship with him.
This starkly contrasts with his inability to even recognize the faces of NewJeans, the most popular K-pop girl band currently under his company.

Let me get this right. MHJ has trashed HYBE in the media and filed a lawsuit against the firm. In the business world this is like a divorce and typically you don't visit the wife who is suing you for divorce. In addition, company divorces are preceded by a path towards separation and each person has a different view of the actions or inactions of the other person. We will never know what happened. But like a marriage gone bad, many small and a few large bad things become a bonfire and the marriage or the business relationship burns down to the ground. MHJ is in a very weak position because she doesn't have a big moneymaker for a big company and her personality is problematic and weak. And she had a chance with a new MV with Pharrell and she blew it. The video mirrors her current state of mind--she and the video are a mess. Winners pick themselves up off the floor and figure out a way to succeed. She wants to win something instead of succeed at something. She may win a few small battles here and there but she will lose the war. And who would hire her now?

So the "mudslinging" continues against BSH; he will be okay because the force of positivity that is behind him is much more than the slippery slope MHJ chose to partake in. 🥴💜

Army may dislike her but her little poor me jag on that press conference swayed many females. IDK why. But now he is the devil and peolpe are going to start digging up everything they can on him or fabricate lies using information cobbled together. This makes me sad because he was supportive of BTS and is like a treasured uncle, brother. With HYBE he bit off more that he could chew and that really suck for him as there is no easy way out.
