EXPLAINING THE BLOCKCHAIN, METAVERSE, NFTs

NOTE: If the sheer mention of this triggers you, please do not watch the video and stop reading this. It isn't worth getting irritated over this. I want all of you to have a good experience here, not get another source of irritation. You can just request for topics that will make you feel better and I will gladly do it for you.

==================================

This is for those who simply want to understand what the blockchain is, the metaverse and NFTs. I will discuss the basic concept. I believe that understanding what these are, then you will be able to understand why HYBE is getting into it.

here are some videos you may also watch about the metaverse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFUVZDPrB7U&pp=ygUJbWV0YXZlcnNl

TRUE STORY: my elexa spoke and siri answered. I felt like the outsider in that conversation.

And yep... I have several Alexas throughout the house. I love them. They only record when you say the wake word... but there's nothing I talk about that would worry me anyway. It does so many great things. And my neighbors literally saved her life. She fell and broke her hip and was able to tell Alexa to call her daughter. Her daughter and I broke the door open and called 911 when we found her.

My first computer as a kid was a Tandy from Radio Shack... a very early kind of PC. You could hook it up to the TV as a monitor. I taught myself BASIC with that. There was no Windows yet. I saved my computer programs on a cassette tape. You just connected a cassette recorder to it. By the time I got to college they were just phasing out the batch cards as a way to write code. I hated those things. If you dropped your cards and the were mixed up. I was in the first class to type code directly into the computer. That's when I learned FORTRAN. And it's just continued on and on. I went from chalkboard (ugh... the chalk makes me sneeze & have heeadaches) to a wall of whiteboard & dry erase marker. Still use that. Then we had overhead projectors. My hands were always stained from vis a vis markers. Then I was the first in the school to have an LCD screen that fit over my projector. I also was able to connect it to 2 TVs in the room so they could see it better. Then I had an LCD projector that projected my computer onto the wall. Now I have a promethean board (type of electronic white board).
