Geffen Apologized... Sort Of

Good thing is that ARMY is more or less focused on Jimin.

I do think it's UMG and not Geffen that's responsible even for digital distribution but I do hope whatever happened now won't happen in the future.

The next is Jin (it seems) and it will be his first solo album. I hope he gets the best promotion possible.

I mean we should always address the business not tag personal accounts period as that's more professional tho it was a Jimin solo stan that tagged the guy's personal account asking the question. He could have blocked or muted that account if he didn't want them tagging his personal account but he instead chose to post that petty response. They will always find a way to downplay things but your right it doesn't mean we should help them do it. I think army is in the same boat as BTS, the guys are constantly bombarded by rude unprofessional petty corrupt people especially in the music industry. But BTS has to continue being constant professionals & playing above board because the guys can't get away with anything less then that, they are put under a microscope by the industry ready to find anything to take them down. They've done that so well now that the industry has to make things up to discredit them at this point & the industry will now use their fandom against BTS to hurt their image like calling us bots or saying we're attacking them etc. I think people also forget that almost none of these American distribution companies want to work with BTS, they make less money off of them so they do the least they can do & prioritize the artists that make them more money. But BTS has to work with someone to release their albums in America & it will likely be a company that Billboard recognizes otherwise their albums wont be counted at all for the charts. They have to work with American companies that don't even want them here. And now the companies are dealing with army calling them out or holding them accountable for the jobs they are meant to do, I don't think they are use to fans caring enough to ask for things from them. Personally I think the more informed we actually are about how these businesses really work, who is responsible for what, and the more professional we act the more productive we will actually be. We are a big fandom, we have a lot of professional army that are in different business fields it would be great to have perspectives from individuals that work for or have worked for music distribution companies particularly in America. We use to be a lot more organized & productive on twitter before all the changes made to it, we had a lot of army branches like BTS Army Medical Union, BTS Army Bar Association (which is on rest or hasn't been posting) & many others that are just not active there anymore or even when they are the algorithms are so messed up now I don't even see the posts from those I follow, I have to actively look for their page to check. It's made things more difficult for us to maintain what we use to have there sadly. But if we had that kind of organization skill, professionalism, & momentum again somehow (ideally across different platforms that are united) we would gain a lot more ground again.

"Does not reflect his views" yeah sure, i call it BS! He typed something that mocks Jimin without any thoughts? Is he trying to imply a ghost typed it for him or what! On the other hand, they didn't fix the problem and waited until all the damage is done to give out the fake apology. And they also did not fire him or at the very least demote him. He's not worthy of his position but they aren’t even demoting him. And they use their so called apology note to scold armys for calling him out. Do they think they are in any place to scold us? The problem was regarding not giving the presave link. They only gave it out 1 day before the song came out. This is what ARMYs were telling them about, to not wait until the last moment to give out the presave link cuz a link given shortly before the song coming out is almost pointless. And they did just what was asked not to do. They went ahead and waited until last moment. Last time i checked, they still didn’t fix the problem in the album that made it not eligible for UK charts

I guess next time, we should avoid personal accounts so that we don’t give them an excuse to downplay requests and complaints.
