MORE ORGANIZED: HEARING ON MHJ'S INJUNCTION & BTS ACCOUNTANT

Lawyers from either side were given 30 minutes to present their case. The hearing is over and the court said they will accept evidence until the 24th.

The court will make a decision before the 30th. If the court does not grant her the request, she will most likely be fired during the extraordinary meeting of shareholders.

MIN HEEJIN'S ARGUMENTS: 

1. MHJ lawyer said that HYBE broke their promise that MHJ's group will be the first girlgroup of Hybe.

2. She was not allowed to use the term "all teens" even after ADOR has been established because Hybe was worried Lesserafim won't be viewed as MHJ's girlgroup.

3. Bang Sihyuk (BSH) didn't respond to the greetings of NJ members. Lawyers presented a kakao message from the member talking about being ignored by BSH.

4. Hybe has a duty to defend against infringement as per the exclusive contract of NJ.

5. MHJ didn't do anything that violated any of the terms of the agreement.

6. NJ's album is scheduled to be released in 2024 plus a world tour.

7. NJ members said they cannot do anything without MHJ and want to continue working with her. NJ fans want the same thing.

8. On April 16, Hybe mentioned NJ will go on a long vacation. NJ and parents are scared that the dismissal of MHJ would harm NJ, ADOR and MHJ.

HYBE'S ARGUMENTS

1. MHJ'S MEETING WITH NAVER AND DUNAMU

Hybe said that MHJ met with Naver and Dunamu. MHJ tried to pressure them to take over ADOR. Naver and Dunamu admitted to Hybe they met with MHJ. This is against the initial claim of MHJ that she didn't meet with any investor.

Naver owns 49% of Weverse, a subsidiary of Hybe.

2. RELIANCE ON SHAMAN

Hybe said that MHJ was overly reliant on the shaman. She tried to take over ADOR through the guidance of the Shaman. The shaman wanted MHJ to hire someone. MHJ believes that the spirit of her dead sister will be in the body of that person. She tried to hire the person with no referrals but the other person went for another job.

3. HYBE said that MHJ is not really concerned with NJ BUT ON THE MONEY NJ BRINGS.

Min allegedly said" NewJeans' success is because of me, not NewJeans.

HYBE's representative said: "CEO Min demanded that the NEWJEANS members follow a script she had created, even during external interviews. This creates a gaslighting dynamic, where the artists are encouraged to stay in a passive role, under the guise of a 'mother-daughter relationship.'

Furthermore, HYBE accused CEO Min of 'gaslighting' the NEWJEANS members, suggesting that she wanted them to be mentally subordinate to her. They alleged that Min demanded the members follow her script even in external interviews, creating a controlling relationship disguised as a supportive 'mother-daughter relationship.'.

MHJ allegedly said the following:

"It's hard to treat NewJeans members as artists and even though it's disgusting, it's terrible to put up with them and support them."

" NewJeans' success is because of me, not NewJeans."

4. MHJ CONTACTED ACCOUNTANT OF BTS.

She contacted the accountant of BTS and wanted to find fault in Hybe's system and break public trust.

5. HYBE SAID THEY AUDITED ADOR AFTER SEVERAL QUESTIONABLE ACTS BY MHJ

MHJ tried to take away the management rights of Hybe, demanded that she has full auhority over the exclusive contract of NewJeans, embezzlement, and others.

6. MHJ INSULTED A WOMAN WHO FILED A SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMPLAINT AGAINST VP L

MHJ is said to have insulted the woman who filed the case and called her names.

Hybe was able to present digital forensic evidence including kakaotalk chats.

Someone asked if BTS' contract is a catalyst to MHJ's frantic action. I don't know but my friend said it is known in the corporate world in the Korea that BTS' contract is extraordinary. It has never been done before. No other artist in Korea and probably the world has been given what they were given.
