10/04 Update

At least ocne a week I will be updating my page with an update. So here's today's:

I've just been doing some experimenting with the camera work. Obviously this is something that won't be finalized until much farther down the road but I'm just getting my feet wet here.  I previously had it set up where I had multiple camera actors in the world and I would manually switch between them once a move has been activated, but then I realized I could just have one camera actor with multiple vector locations stored in an array. And then I realised I can assign an exclusive location for each move to be used for the camera to have even greater control over its location. Just basic stuff I think such subtleties can make a difference. Camera positioning in games often gets neglected and eventually Project Joshi will have a much more in-depth camera system.

In addition I made some adjustments to the widget menu with the move lists opacity fading when a move is active, and I also displayed the name of the move currently being used on screen for a few seconds. Again nothing final, just testing some things out. Thanks for reading!
