This is a flowchart overview of the branching system featured in Project Joshi.
Rather than performing a specific move and playing the animation from start to finish, the game revolves around a branching system whereby the player can pick and choose which moves they wish to perform.
Hold
A hold is when a wrestler has their opponent locked in a fixed position. The 'holder' can also move with their opponent around the ring to any location they please and as long as the hold is still applied, the opponent will follow. Holds can also lead into slams, submissions and carry's.
Carry
A Carry works in the same way as a hold, except the wrestler has their opponent elevated.
Transition
Transitioning is when a wrestler switches from a Hold state to a Carry state or between Carry states. Not all moves are accessible from each Carry state so this is where transitioning becomes necessary.
You can find both jpg and pdf versions in the atttachments.
